Rumor: New Armored Core 6 Under Development At ‘From Software’

Out of the 2016 Tokyo Games Show comes a report that a new entry in the long running mech series Armored Core is in development courtesy of series creators From Software. Dualshockers supposedly spoke with Armored Core director Hidetaka Miyazaki who stated that work on the next entry in the franchise was under way. Miyazaki didn’t reveal any other information about the new project. His work with the franchise began with 2005’s Armored Core: The Last Raven as a planner. Sherlock Holmes comes to the Americas in October

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced today that they are partnering with Bigben Interactive to publish Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter in North America. The game will be released for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter is scheduled to launch in the Americas in October 2016. Long Time Blizzard Developer Chris Metzen Retires

Long time Blizzard Entertainment developer & current Senior Vice President in charge of Story and Franchise Development, Chris Metzen has retired from the world renowned developer. Originally reported by the Business Journal and later confirmed via a lengthy good-bye message posted to the Blizzard official forums on Chris’ behalf by Community Manager Lylirra. The Awesome Booths From PAX West

Capcom brought a lot of their offerings from E3 to PAX for the public to enjoy. Surprisingly Dead Rising 4 only had 2 demo stations at their official booth although more where playable at the Microsoft booth. Indie title Warcube was part of the PAX Rising selection at PAX West. Halo 5 Forge Mode To Be Released On Windows 10 On Sept 8th

Microsoft is about to make good on its promise to bring Halo 5: Guardians’ world building Forge Mode to Windows 10 PC on September 8th. Skybox Labs helped MS & 343 bring this previously Xbox One exclusive mode to the PC with the full toolset available across both platforms. Alongside existing content this latest update brings new weapons, new maps and new map attachments. 30 Minutes of New Final Fantasy XV Footage Highlight PS4 / Xbox Differences

Square Enix posted thirty minutes of new direct-feed footage from the Japanese version of Final Fantasy XV to YouTube. To say that this footage is “new” might be a little subjective given that a large sections of this gameplay video were covered in Square’s 60 minute gamescom presentation a few weeks back. Don’t Panic! Your Favorite Overwatch Agent Won’t Be Retired

Could some of our favorite Overwatch agents be retired? After an initial comment to Game Informer by Jeff Kaplan regards to the possibility of removing existing heroes the game director has taken to the official forums to expand upon his comments. Microsoft has announced the September line-up for their games with gold program. Before we get to next month’s line-up, be sure to pick up this month’s offerings before they are gone. Those being Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate and Beyond Good & Evil HD. Broken Overwatch Auto-Aim On Consoles To Be Fixed In Next Patch

Console players of Overwatch have brought up an issue regarding the game’s auto-aim feature on consoles. According to several forum posts submitted by players the game’s aim system will actually move away from enemies such as Genji during the middle of a jump. Here is how the original poster described the issue: “‘I’m moving the control stick horizontally the whole time. All Vertical movement is due to Blizzard’s built in Aim Assist. Activision Combines Every Destiny Expansion Including Rise of Iron In New Collection

Square Enix Makes Final Fantasy XV Delay Official

Square Enix announced during GamesCOM today that the rumored Final Fantasy XV delay is indeed official. The long awaited game will now make its debut on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide on November 29th, 2016. The publisher also announced that the delay of the game will not affect the digital release fo the tie-in film, KingsGlaive: Final Fantasy XV, which is set to debut at the end of the month.
