Valley Releases first Trailer

developer Blue Isle Studios have released the first trailer for their upcomming game Valley The new trailer, which we have embedded above this article, showcases several minutes of gameplay footage, and features a mix of combat, freerunning and environments from the game. It sure does look pretty, but with only previous micro-horror title Slender under their belts you have to wonder if such an expansive game is too much for Bue Isle to take on. Set for release this...

Spencer says “Xbox One Will Have a ‘Nice’ E3 2016”

I think most of us remember the Xbox one being called “undepowered and suck” by several game magazines around the world. Things have come a long way since then. I can now play my Xbox One from my PC, Microsoft has announced that I will be able to cross save files from my Windows 10 apps to my Xbox, and that I can probably only buy most games once and play them on both my Xbox and...

Kenny’s Fallout 4 Log – Almost Two Months

It’s about five or six days short of two months owning the game and I’ve still been playing it, off and on, to pass the time when I’m bored with other games. There’s always downtime with Final Fantasy XIV, too, as my server has some pretty well defined times when it’s better off you just log off if you don’t want to solo quest. I’ve found that in playing it for as long as I have, I’ve pretty...

A Tribute to Joe Waters – Video Game Industry Veteran

Joe Waters passed away on the morning of December 23rd. He was a dear friend of mine and of countless others. As someone who was blessed with knowing him well, both within the game industry and as a friend, I would like to share some words about him. Joe was a self-declared “asshole”. He was blunt and straightforward. You always knew what he was thinking and what he thought of you. Yet his bluntness and tendency to...

Microsoft Says Xbox One Cloud Tech Available to Any Game, Including PS4 Exclusives

Phil Spencer

In a move that most people would call confusing, Phil Spencer said yesterday that Microsoft will not prevent anyone from using its Azure platform for cloud computing for gaming. We wouldn’t keep someone from using.” oh, ok then, so...

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition Review

This review was written using a digital copy of the game for PlayStation 4. There was a long time where I was an avid Dungeons and Dragons player – up until around the time Edition 3.5 came about – and there was a string of video games and novels that I followed as a result: the Forgotten Realms. These were games and novels that tied directly into the lore and the world that Dungeons and Dragons were apparently...

It would seem that after a long drought console gamers will again be able to get custom licensed first party peripherals on the Xbox One.
