Gravity Rush Remastered Is Getting a Physical Release For PS4

Posted on November 14, 2015 by Broken Joysticks

Game developer James Mielke has announced through twitter that Gravity Rush Remastered will be getting a retail release in North America. It will launch on February 9th 2016 and will include all DLC previously made for the game. The remaster was originally only getting a digital release in North America. Physical releases were already planned for Japan and Europe. Box art sure is pretty enough to warrant having it on my shelf. I’m not much of a physical collector myself, but for those that prefer boxed I’m sure the choice is welcome.

Clannad is coming to Steam on November 23

Posted on November 14, 2015 by Broken Joysticks

Publisher Sekai Project has announced a translation of the famous visual novel Clannad will be coming to steam on November 23. The release is the end result of a succesful kickstarter campaign which managed to scrape in well over half a million dollars. In addition to an English translation, this version will have improved visuals and achievement integration. What might surprise many is that this is actually the first official English release of Clannad, despite having a huge following in the west. This is because all the English versions of the visual novel currently circulating are fan-translations, as is the

Mechwarrior online is coming to steam.

Posted on November 14, 2015 by Fionna Schweit

We haven’t had a good Mechwarrior game in a very long while. The current form of the much beloved 90s game franchise where you take control of a giant mech and shoot at other mechs in the sci-fi universe of Battle Tech, exists only in a multiplayer online only, free-to-play format.  Mechwarrior online is that Mechwarror game that people love to hate, its full of micro transactions, caters heavily to harder core players, and has a small but dedicated community of players who keep it running. So its a surprise when this week the games developer Piranha Games have announced that

Fallout 4 Configuration Tool by Bilago

Posted on November 12, 2015 by Tamsin Heineman

One of the biggest complaints with Fallout 4, perhaps the only complaint, is the poor optimization for PC. Well the good news is an audacious and well known modder named “Bilago” has released a configuration tool to help things run better on your rig. Most options are self explanatory and let you adjust things like frame cap, Kodix’s FPS boost(which may not work on all PCs), world and first person FOV, and various other standard tweaks. I want to also mention here that if you uncap your framerate it is highly recommended to turn on Vsync for the game in your video

The Marksmen Have Arrived! lets take a look at Graves! With Hoodie Joy

Posted on November 12, 2015 by Broken Joysticks

League Of Legends Logo 2015
League of Legends preseason for season 6 has hit, and it’s a doozy. We’ve got some heavy hitting changes, and one of the heaviest hitters is Graves. Graves has always had trouble finding his niche to fit, but now it’s even harder. Because he can go everywhere.  Graves is overpowered. You can argue people just haven’t learned him  yet, but this is pretty empty considering he can burst people down faster than he can fire three shots. Top Laner, ADC bot lane, Jungle, you could probably even Mid Lane him, no position is safe from his long arm of the law.

The Steam Controller is here

Posted on November 10, 2015 by Fionna Schweit

The steam  controller is finally shipping out to those who ordered in the first wave.  I received mine in the mail today. Check out the gallery below for the un-boxing goodness and look for a first impressions very soon! The controller feel really nice in the hands, its has an odd downward sloping angle I have never encountered in a controller before. Its nothing like an Xbox or PlayStation controller.  It feels very light and it seems as though the 4 face buttons (A, B, X, Y) are in a place that will be difficult to reach when it gets intense.
