New Characters Join The Battle Royale

It was announced today by Lead Game Designer from Sony Santa Monica Seth Killian, during his visit to the IGN offices that the next DLC for PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale has been decided and dated. Isaac Clarke, the main character of the Dead Space series and Zeus, from the God of War series. Along with those two is a stage which is a hybrid of MediEvil and The Unfinished Swan. PS4 Controller Prototype Images Emerge

We’ve done a lot of reporting on the PlayStation 4 these past few weeks and now it looks like images from the unannounced system’s development kit are starting to pop up all around the web. From destructoid to gametrailers, anonymous sources have given the world its first look at two different prototypes for the PS4’s controller. Activision Registers Four New Skylanders Domains – New Game Imminent?

After posting a $500 million dollar profit in the United States alone, it’s safe to say that Skylanders is/has become an annual franchise. While none of these four domains are actually linked to a website it, it’s apparent that Skylanders is here to stay – no matter what Disney has to say about it! Here are the four domains that were registered by Activision just a few days ago: SkylandersKaosAlliance.com SkylandersNanoForce.com SkylandersSuperForce.com SkylandersSwapForce.com For reference,Skylanders Giants’domain was registered early 2012 and it released October 21st, 2012. So it’s quite probable that we will see the next Skylanders game later this year.

Sony Cuts Ties With SuperBot Entertainment

It has been announced just recently via Kotaku that Sony has decided to cut ties with SuperBot Entertainment, better known to many as the creators on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. This news comes off the heels from their announcement a few days back that they had to lay off some of their staff members. All of the title’s future content will be handled by the Santa Monica Studio.

Sega Girls! New DLC for PS Vita

Sega fan website SGCafe has put up some screen capture from a recent livestream which detailed a new card pack for PS Vita “free-to-play” title Samurai & Dragons. The first “Segakko 13” pack will contain personified images based on Sega’s home consoles. All thirteen such consoles are represented and artist Kei has turned all of the consoles into ‘anime girls.’

Kojima: Metal Gear Rising Originally Starred Grey Fox

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance once was set to star the original cyborg ninja, Grey Fox (Aka. Frank Jager), according to series creator Hideo Kojima. Speaking with IGN he states the original idea was shot down in favor of newly augmented bad ass Raiden after considering feedback given to him by staff at Kojima Studios. Epix Coming Soon To PlayStation 3 And PlayStation Vita

Via the PlayStation blog, Sony Computer Entertainment of America annouced that the premium entertainment network EPIX will be coming to PS3 and PS Vita this year. The service offers over 3000 classic and recently released films, concerts, sports, comedy specials, and original programming. Epix, which is currently available via cable, satellite  xbox 360 and others, will be a free download on PSN and subscribers will be able to instantly stream their content on their PS3 or PS Vita.
