Borderlands 2 “Graveyard” Issue Patched

The Xb0x 360 community can release a big sigh if relief as Gearbox has now fixed the “graveyard” issue that has been plaguing users here recently. Reported only a few weeks ago, the “graveyard” virus affected players saves – most people losing all of their data. So it is now safe to go online and play public matches once again! Hopefully none of you were affected by this virus. If you were, I hope that doesn’t deter you...

Borderlands Legends Comes Out Of The Vault Today

Launching today on Apples iTunes APP store, you can pick up a quite impressive looking overhead shooter. Borderlands Legends. The game seems to focus on in game cash to buy new weapons instead of gathering loot, but does include leveling up and skill tree goodness. Starring the playable characters from the original Borderlands, gamers play through randomized missions which should hopefully keep replayability up. The iPhone sized version of the game is $4.99, while the iPad edition...

XCOM: Enemy Unknown | Review

XCOM: Enemy Unkown is the resurrection of a once great series. The original XCOM titles were amazing tactical and unforgiving you could lose hours trying to save the world. I’d love to say that Enemy Unknown is the perfect return to form however that would just not be true. This series has been updated sometimes for the better and other times for the worse.

Apparently there is a virus going around through the Xbox 360 version of Borderlands 2 dubbed: ‘Graveyard.sav’.  It affects your save file and can be aquired by playing in public games or with friends that have played in public games. BioShock Infinite looks like it’s going to be another beautiful game. With the newest incarnation of the franchise leaving the aqua-metropolis known as Rapture and know going into a completely different direction: an American sky city known as Columbia. The city is known for it’s vast amount of color and it’s one of the most beautiful cities that we have seen in a video game this year. With that said, take a look at a new trailer...

Borderlands 2 | Review

Pandora. It’s been a few years since we last met … my how you have changed. Gone are the dull browns and bleak backdrops. Vanished is the weak storyline. Gearbox didn’t just rest on their laurels and pump out a sequel that is just like its predecessor. No, Gearbox has taken Borderlands shoved it into a metamorphic pod and created a whole new improved animal. A game that takes everything the original was and turns it into...

First Borderlands 2 DLC Leaked?

Borderlands 2

UPDATE: I’ve found some screenshots to go along with this story as well (after the jump). According to some PC tech savvy people and the trophy list over at PS3trophies.com the first (presumably) dlc for Borderlands 2 will revolve around a new area called Oasis. It will also, again presumably, be called “Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty.” Not really sure what the pirate trend is all about this year, but anything Borderlands 2 makes me all for...

Echo Logs From Gaige, the Mechromancer (Plus Skill Tree Unveiled)

Gaige the Mechromancer, the upcoming fifth class in Borderlands 2, has decided to tease us with a couple of Echo logs. From the sound of it, she could be just as crazy as Tiny Tina. Wait, check that, I don’t think anyone is as crazy (and adorable) as Tiny Tina. [youtube id=”Ijs-FEk3OIk” width=”600″ height=”350″] [youtube id=”9zNk8kM2Qj0″ width=”600″ height=”350″] As for the skill tree for Gaige, Gearbox has unveiled it over at the official Borderlands 2website. You can...

XCOM: Enemy Unknown Trailer Gives Us ‘Our Last Hope’

We are just a few short days away from the launch of XCOM: Enemy Unknown. What I’ll be interested to see about this game is how it stacks up in comparison to come of the older games in the franchise…and I do mean older games. If you have Steam, you can download the demo incase you are skeptical about this game. While we wait for the games release, check out the launch trailer! Celebrate The Olympics With NBA 2K13

It’s the 20th anniversary of the USA’s “Dream Team” for the Basketball event at the Olympics, and 2K Games is celebrating by including the 1992 and 2012 teams in NBA 2K13. Jay-Z, the executive producer behind 2K13, states that he made the decision to have these two crews in the game so that people could settle “one of the greatest sports debates of our time.” I’ve never heard people hype up the 2012 team, and probably for...

Meet the Mechromancer In Borderlands 2

Mechromancer

The fine folks over at Gearbox Software have been diligently working on Borderlands 2, one of the most anticipated games of the year (for me anyway). Thanks to their hard work, Borderlands 2 has just gone into certification for release. Now, while the on-disc content may be finished, that doesn’t mean that the downloadable content isn’t. The Mechromancer class is just one of the many pieces of extra content that players can expect in the future. I know...
