The folks over at Jackbox Games – the developers of the absolutely hilarious You Don’t Know Jack series – are Kickstarting a brand new game called Quiplash. The premise is pretty simple, a prompt appears on your television and two players (… or ten house cats if you’re lonely like me) answer within the time limit. Responses are then displayed on the TV and other people waiting to play locally (or viewers watching your Twitch stream) can answer on their own mobile devices. Final Fantasy XIV: Heavansward Available For Pre-Order

Life Is Strange Episode 2 ‘Out of Time’ Rewinds Time on March 24th

The second episode of Dontnod’s excellent indie themed time traveling episodic adventure Life Is Strange: Episode 2 “Out of Time” will be released on Steam, Xbox Marketplace and the PlayStation Store next Tuesday March 24th. Alongside a brand new batch of Episode 2 screenshots Square Enix also released a brief gameplay clip from Out of Time over the weekend. We’ve also included the previous developer diary ‘Creating Academy Bay’ which focuses on the game’s absolutely fantastic soundtrack. I purchased Episode 1 Chrysalis  when it was released this past January and absolutely loved it. We’ll be posting some impressions of Life

Dying Light Gets Hard Mode

Techland has announced that the hard mode patch for their open world zombie survival horror title Dying Light is now available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation in North and South America. The rest of the world will be receiving the patch tomorrow – March 11th. The new difficulty level isn’t the only additions in this latest patch, the developers have also added dozens of new weapons including the Bone Splitter and Rune Hammer.  There are also several new outfits for you to find in the game world, who wouldn’t need a new pair of pants after surving a zombie

Leak: Metal Gear Solid V Releases Worldwide Sept 1st

It looks like Konami & IGN’s planned reveal of a “big announcement” scheduled for tomorrow morning has been leaked a whole day early. Hideo Kojima’s next entry in the Metal Gear Solid franchise, MGS V: The Phantom Pain will be released worldwide on September 1st 2015.
