Aliens: Colonial Marines Gets Patched…

Posted on March 7, 2013 by Joshua Rust

…but it still won’t change that Metacritic score, unfortunately for Gearbox and Aliens fans. Probably one of the worst received games in recent times, Aliens: Colonial Marines certainly has had a dismal start. But at least Gearbox is still supporting the game through updates/patches.

Read on for the list of patches that rolled out today on Xbox 360 (PS3/PC will be released at a later, unspecified date)Read More

The Walking Dead Season 2 Coming Fall 2013

Posted on March 7, 2013 by Joshua Rust

The Walking Dead

For those of you in Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil – you should be happy to know that The Walking Dead: Season 1 from Telltale Games is now available to you all despite all the rating setbacks. So that’s really good news as this is one of the best point-and-click games that I’ve ever played. Even more so, it’s one of the best told storylines in recent years as well.

Confirmed by GameInformer, it appears that Telltale Games has been hard at work on the next set of episodes (Season 2) for Fall of 2013 – yes this Fall!!! It was stated by Eurogamer that the Season 2 of The Walking Dead would launch Fall of 2014, but that information was wrong.

So we only have a few more months before we can get our hands on the next round of episodes for the ever popular Walking Dead game. It’s been said that the choices made in the first five episodes will be expanded upon further in the next season. Personally, I’d really like to see what happens to Clementine after the events of the last episode…

What are some of your favorite moments from The Walking Dead game?

DmC: Devil May Cry | Review

Posted on March 7, 2013 by Jason Fayta

Version tested: PlayStation 3

Devil May Cry returns as DmC, a new vision for the series by developer Ninja Theory, who are responsible for Heavenly Sword and Enslaved, two games that lean more on adventure than action. With that statement alone, Devil May Cry fans have expressed their displeasure, to put it mildly, with the shift in direction, and in some cases, have written the game off entirely. But, a new vision doesn’t necessarily translate as a wasted effort, and DmC is no slouch when it comes to delivering stylish action.Read More

Posted on March 6, 2013 by Joshua Rust

For those of you who don’t follow Marvel Comics and don’t have a clue as to who Deadpool is…well first off, shame on you. But more importantly, Deadpool (a.k.a. Merc With A Mouth) is a highly trained (unstable) assassin/mercenary who’s banter is comparable to a X-Rated Spider-Man. Really there’s not enough time in the day to tell all the ways that Deadpool is awesome, so if you’re interested in learning more about him check is wiki page.

High Moon Studios is teaming up with Activision and Marvel Comics to bring a you a video game based off one of the biggest fan favorite characters Marvel Comic has and it is due out this summer on Xbox 360 & PS3. Read on for the trailer.Read More

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate | Review

Posted on March 5, 2013 by Les Major

The most important thing to get out of the way is this game is a side-scroller based on the console Castlevania: Lords of Shadow game. This isn’t your usual Metroidvania, and while it has somewhat familiar mapping, it’s more linear. There are a million ways you can compare this title to Metroidvania titles (such as Symphony of the Night) however this game just isn’t one of them. So lets look at what Mirror of Fate is.Read More
