Posted on November 12, 2014 by Rae Michelle Richards

SEGA has released their 2008 strategy RPG Valkryia Chronicles onto the Steam Store this morning. As we covered earlier in the month, the announcement of VC coming to PC was pretty surprising and almost out of nowhere. This port comes with some good news – it supports any resolution your video card can handle , heck PCGamer got the thing running at 4K resolution! The system requirements are pretty lax too – SEGA is recommendations a 3GHZ Dual Core with 3GB of RAM and at least a Geforce280. Next thing you know you’ll be able to play this on a

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare | Review

Posted on November 12, 2014 by Rae Michelle Richards

Version Tested: PlayStation 3 This year’s entry into the Call of Duty franchise brings with it a lot of promise. Fresh off of their role in developing 2011’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Sledgehammer Games gets their first crack at developing a fully fledged COD title. This is also the first game in the series to be developed within the newly announced 3 year development cycle. Over the weekend Blizzard Entertainment unveiled a team based FPS called OverWatch. If this announcement comes as a bit of a surprise, that’s because it is! In addition to an entire array of screenshots Blizzard also released a nearly six minute long trailer that introduces us to all of the classes. As to be expected all of them have a unique personality, look and game play style.  My favorite has to be Widowmaker

Destiny | Review

Posted on November 5, 2014 by Rae Michelle Richards

Version Tested: PlayStation 3 Destiny quickly become one of the most pre-ordered titles in recent memory and of course it was backed by one of the largest marketing campaigns we’ve seen in a while for a videogame. Needless to say expectations for Bungie’s first post-Halo release reached into the stratosphere and after playing Destiny for quite some time I’m ready to render my verdict. Should you forge ahead into the stars and join the ranks of the Guardians or pass at being an interstellar savior?

Has the price for MGS V: Ground Zeroes kept you waiting for a discount? Just in time for Halloween, Konami has announced that all digital and physical copies of Ground Zeroes will be reduced to $19.99! Considering the game originally retailed for $39.99 USD for physical copies (or $44.99 if you live in the great white north) this new price point might be more appealing. When we reviewed the game this past April we praised the brand new mechanics on display as well as the impressive graphics. The main story mission is rather short, clocking in at around 2 hours
