Square Enix’s sequel to 2013’s Tomb Raider reboot, Rise of the Tomb Raider will be making its way to Windows PC on January 28th 2016 the publisher announced alongside the game’s minimum specs.

The minimum specs for Rise don’t seem so bad – the game only requires 25GB of install space, which is similar to the PS4 / Xbox One console versions. In terms of required graphics hardware you’ll need to be running an NVIDIA Geforce 650  or an AMD HD 7770 or better with at least 2GB of video ram. In realistic terms this means as long as you are running mid-tier hardware from 2012 Rise of the Tomb Raider will run albeit with some features disabled.

In terms of exclusive Windows PC features Rise of the Tomb Raider will feature support for 4K resolution, if your rig is up to snuff. It will also be one of the first games to use NVIDIA’s VXAO technology – which provides a voxel based performance boost for lower end GPUs and the game will be fully integrated into the Windows 10 Xbox game software.

Multiple editions of Rise of the Tomb Raider are available for Windows PC. The standard edition will set you back approximately $59.99 USD, the Digital Deluxe Edition will cost aprox $89.99 USD and it includes the Season’s Pass along with all existing DLC. If you are feeling like spending the big bucks there is a physical collector’s edition that includes all of the above, a free copy of 2013’s Tomb Raider, a replica necklace and journal from the game and a 12 inch Lara Croft statue.

Saint’s Row IV Million Dollar Wad Wad Edition Announced

Posted on August 11, 2013 by Rae Michelle Richards

Multiple special editions of new games are nothing new but can we interest you in a one-off collector’s edition that will cost one million dollars? What first seemed like a joke, Saint’s Row IV: The Super Dangerous Wad Wad Edition appears on UK retailer GAME’s official website.

For a cold million dollars The Super Dangerous Wad Wad Edition gives you the rock star treatment in a number of different areas. In addition to the commander & chief edition of Saint’s Row IV , a replica dubstep gun, highlights of this one-off package include plastic surgery of the buyer’s choice, a Lamborghini Gallardo rental good for one year, a stay in Burj-al-arab and a trip to freaking space courtesy of Virgin Galactic

I’m sure someone will shell out the $1,000,000 for this package considering there are people out there who admit to paying upwards of $500 a month on mobile micro transactions. Even if this off the wall edition doesn’t sell it’s a great PR move and certainly please fans.Read More

Injustice: Gods Among Release Date & C.E Details

Posted on January 15, 2013 by Rae Michelle Richards

Injustice Gods Among Us has to be one of the most exciting fighting games to be announced in quite some time. We now  have a solid release date for the game as well as the announcement of premium and collectors editions thanks to publisher Warner Bros interactive.

You’ll be able to pit your favorite DC super heroes against each other on either PS3 or Xbox 360 this April  16th. Aside from the regular $59.99 standard edition Injustice Gods Among Us also comes in a $99 Battle Edition which includes  a limited edition fight stick, 5 DLC skins and the game. The $149 comes with  a collectable figurine, digital movie download and 5 skins as well as the game.

Coming off the spectacular Mortal Kombat from 2011 Nether Realm Studios has a chance to show us what they can do with the DC comics license, after 2009’s Mortal Kombat Vs. DC. Personally I was a little disappointed by the MK VS DC game due to the T rating but Injustice looks pretty awesome. That fightstick would make an excellent addition to any fighting fan’s collection.

Check out the full PR text after the jump.Read More
