Rumor: Games With Gold For March 2016 Leaked

It looks like the Games With Gold for next month might have leaked out before the official announcement according to a post on gaming forum Neo Gaf. If the rumor is true then Xbox players can look forward to complementary copies of Sherlock Holmes: Crime & Punishment  and  Lords of the Fallen as long as they have an active Xbox Live subscription. Xbox 360 owners may receive Gearbox Software’s classic FPS Borderlands as well as the RTS title Supreme...

Battleborn characters Ghalt and Deande showcased in new videos

Battleborn, the new multiplayer shooter from Gearbox just got some new video content.  Deande, and Ghalt are featured in new video content released today. Ghalt wields dual shotguns, has a gap closing hook, and can deploy traps. Deande appears to be much more stealth oriented with a melee attack and a cloak that makes her invisible. There is a lot of footage in the two new trailers, players new to the game will notice that Gearbox’s trademark cell shaded...

Tales From the Bordelands is Surprisingly Engaging

Review by Hoodie Joy “what do you expect out of an episodic story based game?” I found myself asking this often. Tales from the Borderlands is my first of this genre, and I took the opportunity to review it because it seemed like a good way to try out episodic games. I loved both Borderlands 1 and 2, but this game is not either of those. Tales from the Borderlands was a pleasant surprise. I went into...

Tales from the Borderlands Announced

Telltale Games and Gearbox Software have superhero teamed up to bring you what could be a very interesting twist on the Borderlands franchise. Tales from the Borderlands was announced last night at SpikeTV’s VGX Award show and will be released in 2014. For those unfamiliar, but really how could you be, Telltale Games is responsible for the incredible The Walking Dead game (and no, not that other one you’re probably thinking of). Telltale Games will be developing...

Krieg, The Pyscho Arrives May 14th For Borderlands 2

Borderlands 2 will receive it’s second downloadable character (making the total six) on May 14th, 2013. This has just been confirmed via the ECHOcast on Twitter, which it appears that Krieg the Psycho has taken over! For those who love this game, such as me, this is a great way to get people back into the game and tide them over until the fourth campaign DLC releases. So, get ready for May 14th when You. Meat. Krieg.

Borderlands 2 Gets Massive Patch on Xbox 360

Gearbox Software has issued a pretty massive patch for the Xbox 360 version of Borderlands 2. Back when the game launched this past September users reported resets in regards to their badass ranking. Surely, this must have been enraging. In a surprising twist Gearbox not only fixed the issue but also added the ability for players to reset all challenges once they have completed at least 85% of them.  You will not be able to earn any...

Borderlands Legends Comes Out Of The Vault Today

Launching today on Apples iTunes APP store, you can pick up a quite impressive looking overhead shooter. Borderlands Legends. The game seems to focus on in game cash to buy new weapons instead of gathering loot, but does include leveling up and skill tree goodness. Starring the playable characters from the original Borderlands, gamers play through randomized missions which should hopefully keep replayability up. The iPhone sized version of the game is $4.99, while the iPad edition...

Meet the Mechromancer In Borderlands 2

Mechromancer

The fine folks over at Gearbox Software have been diligently working on Borderlands 2, one of the most anticipated games of the year (for me anyway). Thanks to their hard work, Borderlands 2 has just gone into certification for release. Now, while the on-disc content may be finished, that doesn’t mean that the downloadable content isn’t. The Mechromancer class is just one of the many pieces of extra content that players can expect in the future. I know...
