For those of you who don’t follow Marvel Comics and don’t have a clue as to who Deadpool is…well first off, shame on you. But more importantly, Deadpool (a.k.a. Merc With A Mouth) is a highly trained (unstable) assassin/mercenary who’s banter is comparable to a X-Rated Spider-Man. Really there’s not enough time in the day to tell all the ways that Deadpool is awesome, so if you’re interested in learning more about him check is wiki page. High Moon Studios is teaming up with Activision and Marvel Comics to bring a you a video game based off one of the biggest

Skyrim Gets Even More “Legendary”

Posted on March 4, 2013 by Joshua Rust

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of the best looking games you will find on a console. Probably one of the most massive worlds you will ever roam as well. It’s great to see a game, especially of this size, still getting the support it needs and deserves from Bethesda for the players who are still roaming the land in pursuit of legend, fame, and an arrow in the knee. So, if you’ve mastered playing Skyrim on the hard difficulty get ready because when the new update launches (sometime soon) it will add a “Legendary” difficulty. In addition to

Kojima Talks PS4: Excited About Interaction

Posted on February 28, 2013 by Jason Bassett

Hideo Kojima is more excited about interaction than hardware it seems. In a recent interview with IGN, Kojima states that he is more excited in the social and long ranged feature sets of the Playstation 4 saying: I can say that with every new generation of hardware the capabilities of the hardware increases. But up to this point it’s always been very much of a vertical evolution – of course, you expect things like visual fidelity, audio, frame rate. New features such as 3D capability, etc, etc. These things are a given. They come with the new hardware.”

Darksiders Is Finally Set To Be Auctioned Off…Along With Other THQ Properties

Posted on February 27, 2013 by Joshua Rust

It’s never easy hearing about a publisher, developer, or anyone in the gaming industry (let alone anyone at all) lose their jobs. Such was the case with THQ as the publishing titan came crashing down. Speculation could be pointed at their failed attempt to make uDraw the next big thing, but just one thing isn’t the cause of their unfortunate demise. Just a short while ago most of the bigger name franchises were auctioned off, such as Saint’s Row, Homefront, & Metro. To my biggest surprise, Darksiders was nowhere on the list of being picked up by anyone. Granted the second game

Posted on February 27, 2013 by Joshua Rust

Nothing and I mean nothing gets by you all on the internet. Insomniac Games has silently registered a trademark for Sunset Overdrive. Even though the studio has went on to publicly announce that it will not be continuing the Resistance franchise, they do have the upcoming (recently delayed) action packed co-op shooter Fuse which is setting at a tentative Spring 2013 release date. While nothing specific has been announced on Sunset Overdrive, the details from the filed trademark list “computer game software” and “entertainment services, namely, providing an on-line computer game”. So while Insomniac Games is “done” with Resistance, they

Well if you head over to NeoGAF, you’ll find that Square Enix has just trademarked the name “Deus Ex: Human Defiance”. Currently, the thread at NeoGAF suggests a few things.
