Today was the big day! Mandy and I visited a WB Interactive press event in Toronto to play an earlier build of Injustice: Gods Among Us and it’s awesome! I’m sure that surprises no one, so lets get into some details shall we?

New Screens from Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

Square Enix released new screenshots for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII today which reveal an expansive new area of the world of Nova Chrysalia, the Dead Dunes. Facing new monsters and bandits, Lightning must explore these treacherous desert areas and gain information from the mysterious village that huddles around the oasis. The new screenshots also feature the different shops in the game including food, magic, ability and item shops along with an inn where Lightning can rest and replenish her health.Read More


More Details for Console Versions of Resident Evil Revelations

We’ve got a ton of new information about the upcoming release of Resident Evil Revelations for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U to share with you.

Resident Evil newcomer Rachel, who made her debut in the 3DS release of Resident Evil Revelations, will be joining Hunk as a brand new playable character in Raid Mode. Check out some screenshots showing Rachel and Hunk in action below and then a whole bunch more on the Darkain Arts Gamers’ Tumblr gallery. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Reveals the Sorcerer’s tricks

Capcom’s upcoming sequel Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is quickly approaching so we thought we’d group together some of the details of the game to whet your appetite a bit. Capcom has also unleashed another trailer for the game, which you can see below.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be available from April 23 in North America and across Europe on April 26.

As a Sorcerer in Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, players will get to cast an array of high level magic spells as they make their way through the underground realm. Darkstalkers Resurrection Now Available!

Capcom has confirmed that Darkstalkers Resurrection is now available to download in North America on PlayStation Network (PSN) for $14.99. The game will be released in Europe on PSN on March 13th (€14.99 / £11.99) and across all territories on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points.

Featuring a unique and colorful cast of characters blended with fast-paced fighting action, Darkstalkers Resurrection contains two games (Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3), for the price of one. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World Ultimate Edition Announced

We reached out to Ubisoft for an update to our Wallace Wells and multiplayer article that was just posted. Talk about luck! Ubisoft just announced Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World Ultimate Edition today which includes the DLC pack, as well as the seperate pricing if you already own the original title.

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World Ultimate Edition includes both the Knives Chau Add-On Pack and the Online Multiplayer + Wallace Pack from the original game. All for $14.99 on PSN or even better, $11.99 for PS Plus members! No word yet on an XBLA version, but odds are one is on the way for a similar 1200 points. The DLC pack featuring Wallace Wells and multiplayer is available seperately for $4.99 ($3.99 PS Plus price). From the sounds of it, the DLC comes out… tomorrow! March 12th! I guess I waited just long enough to ponder about this content again. Talk about timing! Today, Ubisoft released a new teaser trailer for Call of Juarez Gunslinger. Lost Planet Release Date Confirmed

Capcom announced today that they have firmed up the release date for the next game in the Lost Planet series across North America on June 25th. Coupled with the release date announcement is a brand new trailer for the game as well as a ton of new photos (links to those below).

The trailer continues the story of Jim Peyton’s time on E.D.N. III as a NEVEC employee seeking out further sources of the planet’s energy supply T-Eng. During one of these missions, Jim comes under attack from E.D.N. III’s indigenous Akrid, causing his Utility Rig to fall down an icy fissure, leaving him unconscious and injured. Jim wakes to find himself in what appears to be a secret base, hidden beneath the planet’s frozen surface. On discovering he was rescued by one of the base’s inhabitants, Mira, the daughter of Snow Pirate leader, So’ichi, Jim realizes that NEVEC are not the only human inhabitants of E.D.N. III.

Assassin’s Creed IV Trailer Revealed

Ubisoft revealed the first official trailer for their upcoming game Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag early this morning. The trailer is very much a teaser that features a pirate captain describing the main character of the game.

The year is 1715. Pirates rule the Caribbean and have established their own lawless Republic. Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag introduces Edward Kenway, a brash rebel Pirate Assassin. His fight for glory has earned him the respect of legends like Blackbeard, but also drawn him into the ancient war between Assassins and Templars, a war that may destroy everything the pirates have built. GTA V Delayed until September

Rockstar Games put up a small announcement on their website this morning to share with their fans that upcoming game Grand Theft Auto V, which is their hugely anticipated title, will not be released in the spring as they had originally announced. The game will be pushed back four months and will not hit store shelves on September 17th, 2013.

“We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you,” the letter wrote. “GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require.”Read More


TGS: Tales of Xillia 2 Gameplay Footage

Namco Bandai Games released some new gameplay footage of their next game in the “Tales of” series at the Tokyo Game Show on Thursday. Tales of Xillia 2 is the direct sequel to Tales of Xillia and the eighteenth game in the series.

Tales of Xillia 2 is set in a world named Elenpios, which currently remains in harmony with Liese Maxia. However, due to the two world’s differences in culture and terms of opinion, they also remain in opposition. Elenpios is a highly technological world where the residents live in prosperity.Read More
