As the battle arena tournament reaches the next level, voting on some of these characters are becoming harder for most die hard DC comic fans. Fans got to vote the outcome of the four quarter final matches between Batman vs Wonder Woman, Flash vs the Joker, Aquaman vs Green Lantern and Superman vs Green Arrow. Hawkgirl And Sinestro Confirmed For Injustice: Gods Among Us

Today, the Injustice Battle Arena website has posted the next series of fights which at the same reveal two playable characters who have been rumored to be in the game in previous trailers: Sinestro of the Sinestro Corp and Hawkgirl. Each character will be facing off against already revealed characters, Superman for Sinestro and Green Arrow for Hawkgirl. These fights are the last in the Injustice Battle Arena tournament with next week going into the quarter finals of the tournament. With these two characters, the playable roster has risen to 19 characters. Injustice Battle Arena Wk2: The Joker and Lex Luther Face off

Following up on today’s news surrounding the first results of the Injustice Battle Arena, WB has revealed that the week will feature a battle of villainous proportions. Superman’s archrival, the ever resourceful Lex Luther faces off against Batman’s longtime nemesis, the clinically insane Joker.

Injustice Battle Arena Week 1 Results And Shazam Confirmation

We mentioned last week about the Injustice Battle Arena site where fans get to vote who would win in a battle. The first week battles are over (Batman vs Bane and Wonder Woman vs Harley Quinn). The next week battles have been confirmed and Shazam, who was leaked a few week back has been confirmed as a playable character as he is matched up in the second week taking on The Flash. With Billy Batson’s inclusion this completes the list of characters from DC who were in Mortal Kombat vs DC (minus Darkseid). Also for week two The Joker will be squaring off against Lex Luther. You can vote at the official site here and being one of the first to cast your vote usually nets you a free item so take advantage. Superheroes Battle It Out For Fan Votes In WB’s New Campaign

We already knew that our favorite DC Comics characters were going to duke it out in NetherRealm Studio’s Injustice: Gods Among Us, but what we didn’t know was that the WB planned to launch a popularity contest weeks before the game’s release. Obviously this is meant as a way to drum up hype and support for the title before its April release, but this certainly is a neat approach.
Dubbed the “Battle Arena,” every week for the next 10 weeks, Warner Bros will pit two characters against each other, with fan votes determining the winner. Each week a pre-match video will be released showcasing the combatant for that round. Fan opinion is gauged through Facebook and Twitter and a final video showcasing the results of fan opinion is released that same Thursday.
So the whole thing is kind of like March Madness, except with super heroes instead of basketball teams!

Injustice Gods Among Us Story Trailer

Warner Bros. has released a brand new trailer for NetherRealm Studios’ Injustice: Gods Among Us. Millions of lives are on the line as the Joker plans to kill millions of people and the Justice League begins to deal with the proper punishment for super villains. It is the kind of tension filled high stakes situation we’ve come to expect from comic books.
If the story mode from 2011’s Mortal Kombat is any indication, then NetherRealm Studios is going to give us a lengthy, well produced and slick story mode that will keep us on the edge of our seats right until the very end. The fact that they have years of comic book back issues to draw inspiration from only makes us more excited.
Make sure to join Batman, Superman, The Flash, Green Arrow and more in a struggle of super powered proportions when Injustice: Gods Among US ships this April.

Injustice: Gods Among Release Date & C.E Details

Injustice Gods Among Us has to be one of the most exciting fighting games to be announced in quite some time. We now have a solid release date for the game as well as the announcement of premium and collectors editions thanks to publisher Warner Bros interactive.
You’ll be able to pit your favorite DC super heroes against each other on either PS3 or Xbox 360 this April 16th. Aside from the regular $59.99 standard edition Injustice Gods Among Us also comes in a $99 Battle Edition which includes a limited edition fight stick, 5 DLC skins and the game. The $149 comes with a collectable figurine, digital movie download and 5 skins as well as the game.
Coming off the spectacular Mortal Kombat from 2011 Nether Realm Studios has a chance to show us what they can do with the DC comics license, after 2009’s Mortal Kombat Vs. DC. Personally I was a little disappointed by the MK VS DC game due to the T rating but Injustice looks pretty awesome. That fightstick would make an excellent addition to any fighting fan’s collection.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Trailer From TGS 2012

First off, I want to state that I’m in no way a DC fan. Even with that statement, I can’t deny that Injustice: Gods Among Us looks absolutely cool. I haven’t heard of the complete roster list yet, but here are a few that are confirmed for this game so far: Superman, Solomon Grundy, Nightwing, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, Harley Quinn and Catwoman.
