Unreal Tournament’s January 2017 Patch Is Here

The Unreal Tournament franchise might not have the staying power it once had – dominating the team based arena combat genre alongside Quake Tournament III in the early 00s but a dedication group of fans & a small time of developers at Epic Games have been hard at work on the next entry in the franchise for several years. First Footage of Ace Combat 7 Running On PSVR

Seven minutes of footage from ACE Combat 7’s PlayStation VR mode was filmed was released via YouTube this weekend. The footage isn’t exactly the most enthralling considering it is the TV screen output of a VR experience filmed off a screen at Bandai’s Thank You Celebration in Korea but it does give us a few hints at how the PSVR mode will work.  Ace Combat 7 was announced back at PSX 2015 and is a direct sequel to 2007’s Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. Nintendo’s Super Mario Run Brings Mario to iOS

At today’s Apple media event, Shigeru Miyamoto made a big splash when he appeared on-stage to announce Super Mario Run. Speaking alongside Apple CEO Tim Cook through translator Bill Trinen, Miyamoto detailed Nintendo’s first-ever iOS game. The game features traditional Mario platforming reworked for mobile devices. Super Mario Run launches first on iPhone and iPad this December. Nintendo and mobile partner DeNA have built Super Mario Run with one-handed play in mind. Two series dominated the school yards of the late 1990s, Nintendo’s Pokemon and Bandai’s Digimon: Digital Monsters.  Many recess arguments were had about whether Charmeleon could melt Agumon in a split second with its flame thrower. Quake Champions Gameplay Trailer Debuts At QuakeCon

At QuakeCon Bethesda debuted the first gameplay trailer for 2017’s arena shooter Quake Champions alongside extended gameplay footage for attendees. In this debut footage, we get our first glimpse at the first person brutal mayhem that will await us next year. The trailer is heavy on rocket jumping, exploding enemies into giblets and the vertical level design that made Quake III such a popular game over 17 years ago. Pair of New Sonic Titles Announced During 25th Anniversary Celebration

During the San Diego Comic Con SEGA held a 25th anniversary party for their iconic mascot Sonic The Hedgehog. The publisher held a multi-hour live stream on Twitch and it wasn’t without its share of gaffs and errors. Audio would periodically drop out, there was a persistent hum during early sections of the broadcast and one of the surprise reveal trailers had to be played twice because the in-person audience in California couldn’t actually see the video. 13 Minutes of COD: Infinite Warfare Campaign Footage

Activision has released a new 13 minute single-player video showcasing some of the campaign mission ‘Black Sky’ from Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. This demonstration footage was released as part of Activision’s San Diego Comic Con festivities and was actually shown behind closed doors at E3 last month as well. Blizzard Teases New ‘Heroes of the Storm’ Content’ With New ‘In Development’ Trailer

Developers at Blizzard Entertainment aren’t wasting any time creating new content that will surely fill the nexus for the coming weeks or months. In the latest ‘in-development’ trailer we get a brand new look at two new heroes currently being finalized – Gul’dan and Auriel. Trials of Cold Steel II Coming To Europe This Fall For PS3 / PS Vita
