Is Call of Duty: Ghosts Activision’s Next Big Game?

Posted on March 25, 2013 by Rae Michelle Richards

Over the weekend the Spring Equinox happened, and just like the seasons change, the next Call of Duty‘s reveal should only be a few short weeks away. Supposed details surrounding the game’s plot, weapons and mechanics are supposedly starting to leak out. Considering the source, a random YouTube user, take all of what is coming with a grain of salt, but keep in mind that Modern Warfare 3 had its own huge leak two years ago that proved accurate.

Saint’s Row IV Once Featured Dragons & Stephen Colbert

Posted on March 25, 2013 by Rae Michelle Richards

Would you believe us if we told you that Saints Row IV originally featured Stephen Colbert as the president of the United States? How about taking a page from Skyrim, with dragons flying around all over the place? For a game originally scheduled to be a downloadable expansion to Saints Row IV, titled Enter The Dominatrix, The folks at Violition have had so many crazy ideas that they have tossed entire drafts of the game’s script in to the trashbin. All of the details come from a rather detailed piece over at IGN.

Reminder: Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory Now Available

Posted on March 24, 2013 by Rae Michelle Richards

Fans of JRPG and NIS America’s quirky sense of humor can rejoice as Hyper Dimension Neptunia Victory is now available at North American retail, after a slight delay. This is a game I’ve personally been following for months and can’t wait to spend hours with Neptunia and her video-game inspired ensemble. The game’s story takes place sever years after the prevention of Arfoire’s revival. While GamesIndutri has enjoyed relative peace, Neptune has been transported to an alternate world facing off against a “group of seven” who seek to rid this strange world of the CPUs. Based off the 1980s videogame

Capcom wrapped up its panel at the PAX East convention earlier today with the announcement that Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom and Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara are making a welcome return on multiple platforms in the coming months. As the first modern role playing game, the Dungeons & Dragons franchise from Wizards of the Coast gave birth to numerous products including two arcade titles from Capcom, Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom and its sequel Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara. Both these titles are now being re-released with updated HD graphics and a wealth of other

Army Of Two: The Devil’s Cartel Launch Trailer

Posted on March 21, 2013 by Joshua Rust

Visceral Games got off to a fairly decent start this year with Dead Space 3 averaging in at a 78/100 on Metacritic. They look to revive an otherwise stale franchise next week when they release Army Of Two: The Devil’s Cartel on Xbox 360 & Playstation 3. So to keep the hype up for the games impending launch, Electronic Arts & Visceral Games have released a new trailer – the launch trailer in fact. While I loved the first game, I felt that the sequel was a bit off in places. I’m hoping that Visceral Games renews my faith in this

Posted on March 20, 2013 by Broken Joysticks

Last article I had wrote about the many different ways that Black Adam has been outed as a potential fighter. Toys, magazine references as well as showcased on the character select screen for the game. Today the official Injustice: Gods Among Us facebook page confirmed his inclusion as a playable fighter for the game. So far there’s no reference to how he’ll play except in one screenshot he is shooting lightning from his hands. He might potentially play like Shazam with minor tweaks here and there. Until we get more info, enjoy the screenshots of Black Adam below.

Metro: Last Light Offers Salvation

Posted on March 19, 2013 by Joshua Rust

I can’t stress enough how highly underrated Metro 2033 was – probably due to lack of top tier marketing and an overabundance of high profile shooters that made it pale in comparison to some. Well, it only scored a 77/100 on Metacritic, but it’s by far one of my top new IP’s of this generation of consoles (behind Borderlands lol). The sequel, titled Metro: Last Light, which was recently acquired by Deep Silver after THQ’s downfall is set to release May 14th, 2013. Thankfully it looks like Deep Silver is fully behind this game as they are starting to hype

Posted on March 18, 2013 by Joshua Rust

Activision and Terminal Reality have released a launch trailer ahead of the March 19th release date for The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct game that will launch on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Wii U. Staring as the crossbow wielding Daryl Dixon, from the T.V. show, you will get to see what Daryl and brother Merle had to endure while on the way to the “safe haven” in Atlanta. Therefore, this game takes place before the first season of The Walking Dead T.V. show which adds a nice continuum to the long time fans. Question remains if this is a

Posted on March 15, 2013 by Broken Joysticks

This week, Ed Boon revealed two more characters for Injustice: Gods Among Us: Raven and Doomsday. Doomsday of course, whether or not you read comics is famous as being the man who killed Superman during the Death of Superman storyline. Raven on the other hand isn’t known to many who don’t follow comics unless they watched the Teen Titans cartoon which she is a member of the team.
