Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide review

Posted on December 7, 2015 by Fionna Schweit

Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide for the PC from developer Fatshark is the newest entry in to the ever growing lore chest that is Games Workshop games. This one takes us for the first time in modern gaming in to the Warhammer Fantasy realm. Its a realm of Dwarves, Wizards, Elves, Humans and Greenskins, rather than Eldar, Orks, Humans, and Chaos. That doesn’t mean there isint any crazy stuff going on, indeed this is a world in as the title suggests “the end times”.  Rat like Skaven have overrun the city you play in and its up to you and

Posted on December 6, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

It wouldn’t be time for the PlayStation Experience without a brand new character reveal & trailer from Capcom’s Street Fighter V. Unveiled during this weekend’s expo F.A.N.G – a slender and tall man in an oversized robe and hat. If you think his look is absolutely out of the norm for the series his move set might interest, you even more – he specializes in the use of counters and misdirection.  He also has several moves that can afflict damage over time (DOT) effects to his opponents as long as he hasn’t taken any damage him. Remember a few months

Day of the Tentacle Remastered Coming to PS4 in March 2016, Full Throttle Remastered Confirmed for Later

Posted on December 5, 2015 by Broken Joysticks

Day of the Tentacle Remastered
Last night on stage, Tim Shafer announced that Day of the Tentacle Remastered will be coming to PS4 next March. The game will feature an updated control scheme, as well as a new coat of paints to make the now well over 2 decade old game look the part. It has also been confirmed by studio Double Fine behind the scenes that they are also working on a remaster of Full Throttle, which will release at some point after Day of the Tentacle for PS4 and Vita. I’m a bit too young to have much fondness for old fashioned point-and-clicks.

Saitek Heavy Equipment Precision Control System | Review

Posted on December 1, 2015 by Fionna Schweit

The Saitek® Heavy Equipment Precision Control System for PC is more than just a mouth full, it’s gigantic. Saitek is well known for making quality peripherals for both the PC and Console market, so it came as no surprise that when a new awesome peripheral like the heavy equipment controller is released you know it’s going to be incredible. When I saw the announcement that Satiek would be releasing a brand new piece of equipment like no other my interest was piqued.  The three piece set up is specially set up for Farm Simulator 2015 and it’s really a doozie.

Posted on November 26, 2015 by Broken Joysticks

Review By: Robyn Robo Valve has been releasing new in-house and licensed hardware at a breakneck pace lately, and the Steam Controller is a core component backing up their bid for the living room. Unlike classic console manufacturers, however, Valve has had to bend over backward in accommodating games built for the desktop and, overall, has done well.

In-Engine Total War: Warhammer Trailer Released

Posted on November 26, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

SEGA and Creative Assembly have teamed up to give us the first in-engine look at the upcoming Total War: Warhammer which launches in April 2016. Thirst glimpse of the campaign gives us a look at some of the goblin encampments as they plan to wage war all the way from the Badlands to the Chaos Wastes. Total War: Warhammer will feature similar gameplay to other titles in the Total War franchise – minus the historical accuracy. Basically replace the roman empire with Orks, The Empire (humans), Dwarves and Vampire Counts.  Also unlike other games factions in this game may also
