Injustice: Gods Among Us Version 1.06 Patch Notes

Posted on October 1, 2013 by Broken Joysticks

Probably a recurring question if you follow my Second Dimension: The Warriors Code interviews is the topic of patching fighters. On the 24th in the game’s official website, the notes for version 1.06 of Injustice: Gods Among Us was released and as usual, an inferno of praises and crying (mostly crying) soon followed. While usually I just list the changes and since today is the date for the patch’s release,  we got two returning people who to give us a better insight of the changes and their opinion on them, BIFU | Insaynne and EMP CDjr who you guys remember from their respective interviews.Read More

Project X Zone | Review

Posted on July 29, 2013 by Broken Joysticks

Namco Bandai × Capcom × Sega. No, you’re not reading this wrong, Banpresto and Monolith Soft have joined together to co-develop Project X Zone. This is not a fighting game (sorry versus fans). Project X Zone is a tactical role-playing game featuring characters across popular series such as Street Fighter, Megaman, Sakura Wars, Resonance of Fate, Xenosaga, and Tales of Vesperia, among others. For the very, very few of you who played Namco × Capcom (not to be confused with Street Fighter X Tekken), this game is no surprise. The story is what is expected of crossover titles: an artifact is stolen from original characters Mii Koryuji and Kogoro Tenzai, which triggers a chain of events where different universes begin to intertwine, which throws characters from different franchises in alternate worlds. Tron Bonne from the future lands at Willamete Mall, where Frank West is from, to give a perfect example. Read More

Injustice: Gods Among Us Version 1.05 Patch Hits With Zod Release

Posted on July 2, 2013 by Broken Joysticks

Injustice: Gods Among Us has been hitting a downward spiral as of late since the release of Scorpion as a DLC character who quickly replaced Deathstroke as that character to hate. As with Deathstroke, fans and few pros a like went to twitter and forums in order to let NetherRealm Studios know how unfair and broken Scorpion was. They listened (as who really could getting tweets by the minute) and today marks the release of version 1.05 which also comes along with the release of General Zod as the final DLC character in the season pack (free for season pass holders and 4.99/400 msp for those without) as well as a free costume for Ares which is his classic look.
