Mists of Pandaria Cinematic Intro Released

The intro video for the latest upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft has been released! Keeping with Blizzards explanation from Mists reveal, this cinematic features a Pandaren being the peaceful, but able, innocent between the two factions. I’ve personally been holding back on researching information to play out the story myself, but I’m eager to see how the Alliance and Horde influences affect Pandaria.

Set to be released on the 25th of September, that means one month today you’ll be able to play WOW’s first dual faction race. It also adds the new Monk class to the game. Mists is the fourth expansion to the long running MMO based on the lore from the classic RTS franchise.

Dead Island: Riptide, Sacred 3 To Debut At PAX Prime

Just got some great news from a super-fantastic PR friend of mine from Deep Silver. Word on the street is, both Dead Island: Riptide and Sacred 3 will be shown at PAX Prime! That’s right, if you’ve got the ability to head to PAX Prime this year, you’ll have the ability to see the public debut of two of Deep Silver’s knock-out franchises. Along with that tid-bit of information, my PR contact was nice enough to send out a blurb about each game, which I’ve included below, after the jump.

Mass Effect 3 Leviathan Trailer

Mass Effect is probably one of my favorite franchises of all time. Although the ending has created a huge uproar, that’s not stopping Bioware from adding on the the game. Mass Effect 3 “Leviathan” DLC will be hitting marketplaces next week!

I’m curious to see how Bioware expands upon this universe in the next game. Given, it won’t have to do with Shepard – but that just means the possibilites are endless.

Madden NFL 13 | Review

Just as the sun always comes up in the morning, there’s a new Madden game out every year. Back when Madden NFL 12 was released, I heard some people mutter the words, “another year, another Madden.” Admittedly, I haven’t played a Madden game in a while (in fact, the last game I played was 2005!), but this year’s edition definitely feels like it tries to break the mold that’s built up on the franchise over the years.
