Team Bondi returns with first glimpse of new game

Posted on August 30, 2012 by Jeff Wade

L.A Noire devolpers Team Bondi have left a helpful clue on what we can expect from their next game, though you hardly need to be a detective to find it.

The team updated their website recently with a few new details of their next project, currently targeting release on next generation systems as well as PC.. Set in Shanghai in 1936, the locale should be familiar territory that rivals L.A Noire’s Los Angeles in the seedy vice category, always something to consider when moving to a new area or deciding where to set your game.Read More

Harry Potter Kinect GamesCom Screens

Posted on August 15, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

Harry Potter Kinect is set to cast a magic spell on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 later this fall. Sure, the films & books may be long finished but it seems that Harry, Ron and Hermione will live on forever in virtual form, or at least until Warner Bros Interactive’s license agreement with JK Rowling expires.

These latest screens show off some of the activities that will be available to players including casting spells using cauldrons, quidditch matches and more. Of course, it wouldn’t be a visit from Harry Potter without our old friend Voldemort.

Okay, I admit I only have a passing knowledge of the Harry Potter universe. Harry Potter for Kinect is scheduled to be released this fall 2012.

Lolipop Chainsaw’s Zombie Slaying Tunes

Posted on March 31, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

Grasshopper Manufacture’s next project Lolipop Chainsaw is heavily influenced by the Punk & Rock movements of the 80’s if the art style and aesthetics didn’t already give that away. The game’s sound director Akira Yamaoka and Jimmy Urine of Mindself Self Indulgence fame come together to discuss the game’s sound track in this latest promotional video.

Each character’s personally inspired the type of music for each of the game’s characters/bosses. Akira mentions that 1980s rock left a big impression on him and that lead to some of their choices for not only the original tracks featured in the game but also some of the licensed music Grasshopper has included.
