Newest Fall Out 4 Trailer is live action

Posted on October 15, 2015 by Fionna Schweit

Live action trailers seem are all the rage right now in video games.  The latest company to hop on this live action train is Bethesda, for their much anticipated Fall out 4. The trailer covers all of the bases that fans of the series love. Nukes, Power Armor, and 50s nostalgia all feature prominently, as well as the new dog companion and a fair few enemies.  That’s about it, nothing new or exciting shows up in the trailer and its left to the audience to draw their own conclusions, much like the series itself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3IlHBBGCIw

343 Reveals new UNSC Vehicle Designs

Posted on October 11, 2015 by Fionna Schweit

343 has not exactly been playing Halo 5: Guardians close to the belt, but one thing we have yet to see are some of the new designs for equipment and vehicles that will be available for purchase in the games new requisition system. The new vehicles are recognizable with just enough difference to make them interesting.   Scorpion: The new iteration – the M820 – of the storied Scorpion is half the mass of the old M808 yet has nearly identical firepower and armor protection. As expected, ONI spares no expense with its “security” Scorpions, outfitting them with experimental ammunition using

Posted on October 6, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

SEGA has brought over Ecole Software’s anime dream team fighting mashup Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax to North America for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. The basic concept of this game can be boiled down to “what if we took a bunch of memorable or popular anime characters and allowed them to battle it out!” With a roster that reads like a “who’s who” of the anime world from the past decade or so there are some memorable favorites like Mikoto Mikasa from A Certain Scientific Railgun or Asuna from Sword Art Online or the absolutely adorable but fearsome Taiga

Posted on September 9, 2015 by Fionna Schweit

Hello all, I’m Fionna Fox, your new staff reviewer! Just a quick intro so we aren’t all strangers.  I have been in love with gaming since I was a wee-little-girl. Most recently I have been playing a lot of RPG games, ttttoooonnsss of Heroes of the Storm, and a decent amount of indie rogue like titles. I tend to write in a fairly sarcastic unique style which I feel is similar to how 90s G4 did their reviews. I’m looking forward to writing for you all! <3

Halo Wars Gets a Sequel For 2016

Posted on August 10, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

At their GamesCom 2015 conference Microsoft announced that a sequel to 2009’s Halo Wars is being produced by long time RTS developer Creative Assembly. The folks over at CA are probably best known for the Total War series but they also developed the critically acclaimed Aliens: Isolation this past Fall. Very little is known about the gameplay or story for Halo Wars 2 aside from the fact that Creative Assembly have said that the game will play closer to the original than their other RTS titles. The 2009 original focused on UNSC “Spirit of Fire” and takes place 20 years

Valkyria Chronicles Now Available On Steam

Posted on November 12, 2014 by Rae Michelle Richards

SEGA has released their 2008 strategy RPG Valkryia Chronicles onto the Steam Store this morning. As we covered earlier in the month, the announcement of VC coming to PC was pretty surprising and almost out of nowhere. This port comes with some good news – it supports any resolution your video card can handle , heck PCGamer got the thing running at 4K resolution! The system requirements are pretty lax too – SEGA is recommendations a 3GHZ Dual Core with 3GB of RAM and at least a Geforce280. Next thing you know you’ll be able to play this on a

SteamWorld Heist is a game about space adventures and survival. Recruit a team of ragtag robots to explore and scavenge the remains of a destroyed world. Board enemy ships and command your crew in a unique variety of turn-based combat. It’s a robot-eat-robot world out there, and water is desperately hard

It’s like ‘Fuel’ Across America In ‘The Crew’

Posted on September 5, 2014 by Les Major

Ubisoft is being incredibly generous to us with promotion of The Crew, a new racing title coming this November. First off, it should be noted that upon the end of the beta, myself included, many stormed the forum for the game demanding more time. It is that good of a game. Picture a serious career story that unlike open world games where you can get out of your car like Watch Dogs, you’re stuck in the drivers seat but treated to tons of plot development. The hero is an interesting character, out for revenge and working for the FBI to
