After a long wait, Grand Theft Auto III will finally hit the Playstation Store after months of delay due to issues surrounding certain tracks of the game’s soundtrack. However the news is coming from Sony Hong Kong’s website and they have it listed for September 25th. This source could be trusted as in the past the Hong Kong PS Store has matched release dates with the US and EU. Rockstar has not officially confirmed the date for the release however. While we await the release of GTA V, why not kick it old school? Read More

Hidden DLC Found For Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Posted on September 10, 2012 by Broken Joysticks

Before you start panicking, remember Capcom isn’t the ones who make Tekken Tag Tournament. It was discovered that on top of the forty nine characters on the disc and four free DLC characters for pre-ordering, there was an additional six characters found by players who were mining on the game’s data code.  Those six characters are Slim Bob; the skinny version of Bob who was shown in his Tekken 6 ending, Sebastian; Emilie de Rochefort (Lili)’s butler who follows her around, Miharu Hirano; classmate of Ling Xiaoyu and Jin Kazama who appeared as an alternate skin for Xiaoyu in Tekken 4, Violet; alternate personality for Lee Chaolan in Tekken 4, Doctor Bosconovitch; a man who’s been in numerous endings from Tekken 1 and included as an unorthodox character in Tekken 3 and finally Unknown; who is the final boss of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and evil persona of Jun Kazama.Read More

Borderlands 2 Season Pass Information

Posted on August 30, 2012 by Broken Joysticks

2K Games have officially announced that Borderlands 2 will include a season pass. Not to be confused with an Online Pass, the Season Pass isn’t required to buy for the game but doing so, will net you future dlc at a lesser price than buying each individually. The Borderlands 2 Season Pass will include four add-ons which will bring in new adventures, allies, enemies, and environments and will cost $29.99. If you want to purchase them individually, each add-on will cost $9.99. More information will probably be coming soon as PAX is this weekend, so keep on the lookout for more information about these add-ons. Borderlands 2 hits shelves September 18th in North America and on September 21st in Europe.

Papo & Yo | Review

Posted on August 19, 2012 by Broken Joysticks

How to describe Papo & Yo, a seemingly innocent little platform puzzler currently available on the PSN for $14.99? A small boy and a giant monster running through a dreamscape of South American slums trying to navigate a world of rust and bizarre whitewashed brick, this game is equal parts enchanting and subversive. I can’t say much beyond the fact that this is a really interesting concept that is carried out in a very intriguing fashion.Read More
