Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Teaser Trailer Now Live

Posted on April 30, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

The next entry in Activision’s popular FPS series is getting teased on their official channel thanks to the new teaser trailer titled “Know Your Enemy”. The end of the trailer mentions a “settlement defense force”, perhaps the rumors about this game being full of far-future space combat will be true. I also happened to pause the trailer at just the right moment and well – hey it’s ghost’s mask, which has been reoccurring in infinity war’s COD games. [youtube id=”gaDJX0Ttsfc”]

Not much info has been released about this game, but IGN has finally given us our first look, and holy wow, this game looks amazing. Hopefully its being demoed at E3 so i can get my hands on it, but untill then I will just have to salivate over trailers and other media.

GameWisp stream tools aims to bring a sub button to the masses

Posted on April 28, 2016 by Fionna Schweit

GameWisp is a new product designed for streamers who are not partners on Twitch to be able to get themselves the same type of benefits that partners get. The main benefit they provide is a sub button just like the partnered Twitch streamers have.  CTO Eli Hooten was kind enough to take a few moment from his busy PAX schedule to tell us what GameWisp is all about.   Though I have not been able to try GameWisp out yet myself, it seems like it fills a much needed niche in the industry for smaller non-partnered streamers who usually have to

Posted on April 28, 2016 by Fionna Schweit

Total Warhammer is an upcoming tactical army battle game from SEGA and Creative Assembly. We had the amazing chance to watch a guided play through of one of the games missions with Andy Hall. Andy walked us through an attack scenario where he was playing as the humans and attacking a group of vampire counts.  During his play through we were able to see many of the games mechanics, including the new ability to control in first person many of the games artillery units, and the improvements that have been made to calvary units to make them feel more impactful.

Posted on April 28, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

Star Fox Zero
Earlier in the week, after all of the PAX East madness had subsided, my wife & I decided to do a co-op stream of Star Fox Zero. This take on the Star Fox series, the first console release since 2005, brings with it a unique control scheme that has players looking at the Wii U game pad and television screen simultaneously. Our full review is still incoming, but for now I hope you’ll enjoy these two videos covering the game’s tutorial section and first real missions. In this co-op setup my wife controlled the Arwing’s movements with a Wii Remote

Delving into the darkest dungeons of gaming can be a fools errand for those who are unaware of their surroundings. Washington based developer Harebrained Schemes hope to take the concept of a challenging dungeon crawler and turn it on it’s head with the addition of rogue-like elements in their upcoming game Necropolis. This Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’s Gerudo Valley UE4 Recreation Is A Thing of Beauty

Posted on April 18, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of my favorite games of all time – I have many fond memories playing the game as a child. To see those childhood memories transformed into a series of absolutely breathtaking HD demos constructed in Unreal Engine 4 is an absolute treat for any Zelda fan and thanks to one creator, they are real! Creator CryZENx used the maps from the 3DS enhanced port of Ocarina of Time as a reference and re-made the map from scratch in UE4. Looking at the lighting effects and texture work done in this recreation shows the potential for

Posted on April 15, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

Epic Games have revealed the latest hero for their early access 3D MOBA, Paragon, and this new playable character is a bit of a hot take, if you don’t mind the pun. Iggy & Scorch might sound like two characters but as their reveal trailer shows – it doesn’t look like the pair can be separated, with the reptilian Iggy always attached to the fire breathing Scorch whenever possible! This pair have the ability to launch missiles, Scorch is able to roast foes with fire breath and their ultimate move calls down hell-fire from the skies! The pair will be available in

Check Out The Evolution of Half-Life 2’s Prison In This Video Compilation

Posted on April 10, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

It is well known that the story, environment and even characters of Valve’s classic shooter Half-Life 2 went through many different iterations during the game’s five year development.  YouTube user TalonBrave.info have taken it upon themselves to chronicle the many different changes the Nova Prospekt map (once simply known as ‘Prison’) underwent throughout 2002. Speaking about one particular unused area called ‘The Caffiteria’ TalonBrave wrote: “The level you’re seeing here is from a VMF named cafeteria, which appears to have been produced by David Sawyer; who was a designer at Valve, who produced most of the iterations of the Prison that we’re going

David Hayter Returns As Solid Snake… For A Car Commercial

Posted on April 8, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

Solid Snake MGS2
Eager fans wishing to see original Solid Snake voice actor David Hayter return to his most famous role have had their wishes fulfilled in the oddest of ways. Car manufacturer Ford not only commissioned Hayter to return as Solid Snake but they also secured Paul Eiding, the voice of Colonel Roy Campbell, for a single Metal Gear machinima spot posted on their official YouTube Channel. This whole thing might seem a little surreal, given the fact that Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima parted ways with Hayter back in 2013, instead giving the role of Solid Snake to Hollywood actor Kiefer

Blizzard’s marketing blitz for their upcoming team shooter Overwatch with the release of a brand new 6 minute self contained animated short. This time things focus on the French assassin Widowmaker, as she moves in for the kill on a VIP in Kings Row. It’s really cool to see Blizzard using the in-game levels as the setting for their animated shorts. Does Widowmaker get the kill? You’ll have to keep watching until the end to find out! This short’s narration opens with the chilling “When I was little I had a fear of spiders…”, just how do the arachnids factor
