Chicken Wiggle coming soon to 3DS and iOS

Posted on January 2, 2017 by Jason Nason

Sometimes things slip through the cracks and I’ll admit that I missed this one until this afternoon. Atooi has announced that the creative minds behind Mutant Mudds and Xeodrifter are developing a new platfomer called Chicken Wiggle, which will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop and the App Store.

The stars of Chicken Wiggle are an improbable duo: a young chicken and his best buddy – a wiggly worm – nestled in his backpack! Together, they team up for adventure to jump, peck, and worm-grapple across a myriad of perplexing platforming levels – full of fun gadgets, tricky hazards, and sneaky foes – determined to rescue their friends from the wicked witch in her sky towers.

Renegade Kid released information via Nintendo Life on Friday that their upcoming title Mutant Mudds Super Challenge will be released in North America, Europe, and Australia on March 17th.

We didn’t get a chance to play the original Mutant Mudds on the Nintendo 3DS, however we did play and review Mutant Mudds Deluxe for the PC and the game was great fun. We also downloaded the Nindie preview of MMSC for the Wii U and played thru the demo of the original 3DS title at length.Read More

Could there be a Dementium III on the way?

Posted on February 8, 2016 by Jason Nason

We missed this during the week, but Jools Watsham from Renegade Kid put the question on Twitter with the question: Would you back a Dementium 3 Kickstarter? The ask comes as Watsham and the team are looking to gauge interest in pursuing a third game in the series.

While Kickstarter is a great way to get games funded they can be a lot of work. So before Renegade Kid goes through that effort of setting up a crowdfunding campaign it’s always a good idea to see if they an actually be funded. If everyone who retweets the post were to donate to a campaign then the game has a healthy start and chance.

The original Tweet from Jools Watsham is below, so if you want to see a third Dementium game on the Nintendo 3DS and beyond, click that retweet button. The team is looking for about 3,000 retweets before next Sunday. Read More

Dementium II Remastered Could be Released in March

Posted on January 14, 2016 by Jason Nason

With the first Dementium Remastered barely cooling on the Nintendo 3DS since its release last month, today we have gotten word that the remastered sequel Dementium II may also be close to a release.

Jools Watsham stated on his latest Random Waffles Vlog today that ideally they hope to have Dementium II Remastered done and submitted for lot check by February. If all goes well the game could hopefully hit the Nintendo 3DS eShop sometime in March.

The game will retail for $14.99 like the original remastered game.

Very exciting news.
