Fractured Space Gets Improved Matchmaking

Posted on May 20, 2017 by Rae Michelle Richards

Fractured Space
Edge Case Games’ space faring MOBA hasn’t exactly caught on the way other games within the genre have but that hasn’t deterred a small but dedicated fanbase from enjoying the game. One of the more common complaints about Fractured Space has been the long queue times which can range anywhere from 5 – 10 minutes depending on the number of concurrent player, their skill ranking and the time of day. To ease the pain of long wait times Edge Case is implementing a change to the matchmaker – if they’re aren’t enough players in the pool to fill an entire AI Vs

Walking Dead: A New Frontier- Episode 4 “Thicker Than Water” | Review

Posted on May 17, 2017 by Meghan Kass

There is one issue I find with the episodic format for games, and that is also the same problem I have with television episodes as well; sometimes you get episodes that are just bridges to bigger idea or moment instead of entertaining moments in and of themselves and leave you feeling a little less than fulfilled, yet still wanting more because of the implications of what’s to come. As the penultimate episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier comes and goes, I can’t help but feel a little hungry for more, and not in the best of ways.

Quake Champions Open Beta Impressions

Posted on May 14, 2017 by Rae Michelle Richards

The Quake franchise was once a multiplayer staple during the early 1990s and while the franchise has tried to reinvent itself twice in the mid-2000s it has been almost a decade since we heard from this formally prominent frag fest. Now id Software in collaboration with Sabre Interactive and publisher Bethesda are preparing to bring back Quake for a new generation with the open beta of Quake Champions which launches this weekend. Bethesda was courteous enough to invite me into the Closed Beta Test for Quake Champions and over the past five weeks, I’ve been able to experience multiple builds

After Trying Injustice 2 I Think Scarecrow Is My New Main

Posted on May 11, 2017 by Les Major

Injustice 2 - Scarecrow
During last nights amazing Injustice 2 event at a wonderful venue in Toronto we got to try out some gameplay action! Sure, we only got to try three matches, but I think I’ve found my new fighter. First off, Injustice 2 boasts an impressive roster of at least 32 characters! More characters are even playable through Premiere Skins which changes their voice and appearance, but keeps the play style of a base character. I enjoyed trying out newcomers Black Canary and Cheetah but Scarecrow really stole my attention when I just started tearing up my opponent without any prior knowledge

Secret World: Legends takes a substantial chunk of the content found in the 2012 original and reimagines it as a player-centric story driven experience with shared world elements. Rather than running

From Devil May Cry to God of War, they are full of adrenaline-fueled excitement and of course, plenty of action and enemies to slay. The newest to the genre is Vikings: Wolves of Midgard and while this may seem like a Diablo clone ready to be forgotten by time, there is a charm and fun to this game that should be given more than just a quick glance.   Vikings: Wolves of Midgard has you chose the role of Viking or Shield Maiden
