Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Is Coming To iOS

Posted on August 29, 2012 by Seung Lee

It seems that The World Ends With You won’t be the only popular DS game to receive an HD-enhanced iOS port. Capcom has announced that the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy on the DS (which was also on the Gameboy Advance, but only in Japan) will be available on the App Store for 5.0 or higher iOS devices. The first two out of five episodes for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney will be free to everyone, but the rest of the episodes and the other two games, Justice for All and Trials and Tribulations, will have to be bought separately or in a bundle.

The games will feature a new mode where players can express themselves, with the aid of some popular Ace Attorney characters. The main attraction, though, is the HD graphics. Characters and backgrounds look much, much better than they did in the GBA and DS versions. There’s no info yet on how much each game or the bundle will cost.

No Nintendo Wii U News in September?

Posted on August 29, 2012 by Jason Bassett

If you got to watch the Nintendo Direct this morning, we bet you were probably a little disappointed by the outcome: No Wii U information. You did get a slew of new 3DS information, however. But, today Nintendo president: Satora Iwata killed any hope that information will be during the conference on his Twitter (if you can read that, then you are a wizard) feed:

There are more than a few people who are thinking, ‘There will be a Nintendo Conference in September.’ I want to tell you in advance that the announcement of the Wii U in Japan is planned in a way not involving the Conference.”

Now, this certainly doesn’t mean that there won’t be any news around the time of the conference, but we do know that there won’t be any information during the conference. It should be noted that Nintendo may plan to show only software during it’s conference and leaving information about the hardware using their Nintendo Direct service.

Only time will tell what’s on the minds over at Nintendo.

Far Cry 3 Trailer Takes You To Rook Islands

Posted on August 29, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Far Cry 3 welcomes you to the Rook Islands in this new trailer from Ubisoft. One of the more exciting features about Far Cry 3 that I’m pumped up about is the inclusion of a co-op campaign. Granted it is seperate from the single player campaign, it’s still a great addition to the Far Cry series!

Here is what Ubisoft has to say about Far Cry 3:

“Join Agent Huntley, an ex-CIA operative, for an insider’s tour of the insanity of Far Cry 3. Discover the island’s history. Meet the mysterious and deadly residents. And step into a world of exotic animals and extreme travel.”

Far Cry 3 is set to release November 30th in Europe and December 4th in North America

Twisted Pixel’s new title called LocoCycle looks to blend SpyHunter with Road Rash. The title of the game says it all: LOCO. Check out the trailer below if you don’t believe us!

Here is the official announcement with details on where you can see LocoCycle at PAX in a few short days!

Twisted Pixel Games today announced definitive video proof of escaped sentient assassin motorcycle “I.R.I.S.” Pairing demure etiquette with flawless hand-to-hand combat skills, this superagent motorcycle has been hailed as the world’s most perfect spy. Big Arms Incorporated, the multinational weapon manufacturer responsible for her construction, have so far denied all reports of I.R.I.S.’s escape, claiming her dampening algorithms would never allow her to go rogue. However, reports point to Big Arms’ agents in widespread deployment across North America, and numerous sightings have been made of Big Arms’ first generation combat motorcycle, S.P.I.K.E., said to be in hot pursuit.
