Baynoetta May be a Playable Character In Anarchy Reigns

Posted on March 21, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

Fans of over the top crazy action (and nonsensical plots) have waited for any indication of a sequel to 2010’s Bayonetta. Unfortunately while fans may have to wait a little longer for that to happen they might have reason to strap on their six-shooter high heels sooner than expected with reports that Bayonetta will be a playable character in the upcoming Anarchy Rising.

Anarchy Reigns is the latest beat’em up from Clover Studio veteran Atsushi Inaba. During his time at Capcom he helped produce great games like Okami, Viewtiful Joe and Phoenix Wright before co-founding platinum games. Anarchy Reigns also features Jack from 2008’s Mad World as a playable character. We’re guessing it won’t be long after the game’s release that co-op videos of Jack & Bayonetta kicking some serious ass together flood the internet.

Wakfu’s Gambling Addiction Apparent In New Class Trailers

Posted on March 21, 2012 by Rae Michelle Richards

Square Enix has released two brand new gameplay videos for their recently launched Wakfu online MMORPG/Strategy RPG hybrid. The gameplay videos highlight two of the game’s many different classes, namely Pandawa and Ecaflip classes. The first seems like a class built for fans of warriors and brute strength with its focus on damage. The Ecaflip class focuses on luck & gambeling for its attacks. In the short gameplay clips we see this class flip coins and use cards as projectiles.

Wakfu’s follows a hybrid of the free to play & subscription model. Rather than relying on a cash shop as their only means of generate revenue through consumables, Wakfu offers two different tiers of members. Free members are limited in the classes that they can select, the maximum level they can attain and the in-game areas they are allowed to explore.

Check out the new gameplay trailers for the Pandawa and Ecaflip classes in after the jump.Read More
