Omerta: City Of Gangsters Video Shows Character Creation

Ever dreamed of rising up through the ranks of a mob? Well, without all the real life consequences right? If that sounds about right then you need to check out Omerta: City Of Gangsters from Kalypso Media and Haemimont Games (see Tropico 4). If you haven’t seen the gameplay for Omerta yet, check out our previous coverage for the game.

Here are some of the features as listed on the official Omerta: City Of Gangsters website:

  • Historically accurate representation of Atlantic City and its landmarks
  • Strategic gameplay allows city overview, planning, expansion and gathering of intel

Omerta City of Gangsters Has Gone Gold on Xbox 360 & PC

Kalypso Media’s latest PC title Omerta – City of Gangsters has gone gold for both the Xbox 360 and Windows PC.  It will be available at retail on February 12th 2013.

Omerta transports players back to a 1920s version of Atlantic city where they are tasked with building a criminal empire that will fill other gangsters with fear while benefiting those who are close to them. On the gameplay front Omerta is a mixture of turn based combat and strategic city domination. In order to conquer all of Atlantic City you’ll have to send out mobsters on hit contracts, raid rival hideouts and more.

If there is a studio to bring a turn-based strategy game to the Xbox 360 console it would have to be Kalypso Media. From the Tropico franchise to the upcoming Port Royale 3 game, Kalypso has the talent and experience to make Omerta: City of Gangsters into one of the best – most authentic mob games out there.

Here are some key features from Omerta: City of Gangsters:
