Posted on October 30, 2017 by Rae Michelle Richards

Nintendo’s first big Mario title for the Switch, Super Mario Odyssey debuted near the top of the UK sales charts this week two spots ahead of Bethesda’s Nazi slaying Wolfenstein sequel, The New Colossus. Ubisoft’s (chronically) first title in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Origins also debuted last week and managed to take the top spot. Sony’s exclusive racer, Gran Turismo Sport fell 4 spots to secure 5th place overall.

Here are the top 5 games by sales for the week of October 28th:

  • Assassin’s Creed Origins
  • Super Mario Odyssey
  • FIFA 18
  • Wildenstein: The New Colossus
  • Gran Turismo Sport

As Metro points out in their summary of this week’s sales data, Super Mario Odyssey is responsible for a 64% increase in Switch hardware sales week over week, making Odyssey the 6th biggest Nintendo debut in the United Kingdom.

With the announcement of the Wolfenstein: The New Order is of course a new trailer, which you can see after the jump!
