Humble Square Enix Bundle Includes $5 A Realm Reborn, $1 For Murdered Soul Suspect & Life Is Strange

The folks at Humble Bundle have joined forces with Square Enix to bring out a brand new tiered bundle featuring a wide selection from the publisher’s catalogue just in time for the holidays.

Highlights include Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (30 days of access for new accounts) for just $5.00 as part of the Beat The Average tier. Even the $1 tier has some great games you probably shouldn’t pass up included episode 1 of Life is StrangeMurdered Soul Suspect and three classic Tomb Raider titles.

Here’s the full breakdown of currently available titles, remember that the Beat the Average tier may fluctuate and that the BTA prices in this article are reflective as of press time. Also Humble will be adding new games in a weeks time.

Broken Cast Episode #7 Just Cause 3 Dev Interview

On this brand new episode of the Broken Cast about the upcoming Just Cause 3, EIC Rae Michelle Richards and Managing Editor Fionna Fox sit down with Josephine Doggett one of the two visual effects Artists who is currently working on Square Enix’s upcoming open world action game Just Cause 3.

Over the course of the hour long discussion we talk about Josephine’s long career in videogame art – stretching all the way back to the 1990s with Ion Storm! We talk about the cancelled Kingdoms of Amalour MMORPG and what it’s like working on a project that will never see the light of day. Josie discusses how working in such  a volitile industy has effected her personal life, and about how AAA studious handle diversity in the work place.  In the Second half of the podcast we discuss Just Cause 3 specifically. Rae asks several technical questions about the 8th generation console transition. Then Josie talks about what makes Just Cause 3 unique in a world full of open world games. Finally Josie talks a bit about her favorite part of Just Cause 3, the movment and some of the parts that belong her (EXPLOSIONS).

Square Enix Brings Its Biggest Q4 2015 Titles To New York Comic Con

Square Enix will be attending the New York Comic Con from October 8th thru the 11th and they’ll be bringing some of their biggest titles for Q4 2015 / Q1 2015 with them. Here’s a full rundown of all of Sqaure Enix’s planned festivities for this year’s show.

The publisher has two developer lead panels lined up – the first being for the upcoming cyberpunk RPG Deus Ex: Mankind Divided tilted “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – Creating the World of 2029” on Friday Oct 9th at 7:45PM in Room 1A21. Their second panel centers around the upcoming Just Cause 3 and is titled “Just Cause 3 : Choose Your Own Chaos” It will be held on Saturday Oct 10th at 1:30PM in room 1A21.

If you’re wondering what playable demos will be available in Square Enix’s booth – they’ve got a great mix of recent releases like Life Is Strange along with some upcoming 2016 like the latest Hitman.

LIFE IS STRANGE

Summary: DRAGON QUEST®, one of the most iconic RPG series from Japan, will be transformed into a full-scale action RPG in the West. It is filled with characters and monsters designed by world-renowned artist Akira Toriyama. Also, Yuji Horii, director and creator of DRAGON QUEST, and Koichi Sugiyama, the renowned composer closely tied to the series, are closely involved in bringing this title to life. The demo area allows fan to take on and challenge the all-mighty monster, Gigantes.

JUST CAUSE 3

HITMAN will see players perform contract hits on powerful, high-profile targets in exotic locations around the world, from the highly fashionable Paris and sunny coast of Italy to the dust and hustle of the markets in Marrakesh in this creative stealth action game. Gameplay focuses on taking out targets in huge and intricate sandbox levels with complete freedom of approach. Where to go, when to strike and who to kill — it is all up to you. And for the first time, HITMAN will lead with a digital release inviting players into a world of assassination.

Ghost Recon FS & Just Cause 2 On Sale On Steam This Weekend

This weekend’s steam sale will have you shooting people in the face. Whether you prefer the open world islands of Just Cause 2 or the tactical spaces of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Valve has you covered. Just Cause is a steam sale favorite, appearing multiple times over the last couple of years, but this one of the few times the latest Tom Clancy title has been available at a discounted rate.

Just Cause 2  will run you $3.74 and Future Soldier is available for $33.49! Both sales end at 10am Monday morning.
