PlayStation Network Flash Sale Brings Discounts On AAA Titles

Posted on April 14, 2017 by Rae Michelle Richards

Sony has surprised fans with an Easter Weekend flash sale across all three platforms on the PlayStation Network. Several AAA tittles including multiple collections of remastered games are discounted up to 80%. If you missed out on playing the Uncharted Collection, the Prototype remasters or last years BioShock collection then you can snag them up while they’re all heavily discounted. If you are more of a portable fan there are far less deals that seem appealing, at least to me – the three exceptions being Crypt of the Necro-Dancer, Geometry Wars 3 and Shiren The Wanderer.

Over 100+ items have been discounted so I neglected to list them all in this post. Below are the deals that stood out to me but you can always wade through the multiple pages over on the PlayStation store.

Notable PS4 Games On Sale

  • Bioshock The Collection Remastered (Includes Bioshock: Infinite, Bioshock1 & Bioshock 2) – $39.99
  • Dead Rising Triple Pack (Includes DR 1, DR2 and DR2: Off the record) – $39.74

WB Games / 2K Sales Hit PlayStation Network This Week

Posted on January 20, 2016 by Rae Michelle Richards

Prepare to enter the shadows like the caped crusader or sneak up on some Orcs like the protagonist of 2014’s Shadow of Mordor with deals from both Warner Bros Games and 2K Games on PlayStation Network this week.

I’ve neglected to list pricing on these games simply due to the fact that the Canadian dollar is in a bit of a free fall right now and I suspect the prices I am seeing on the PlayStation Network might not exactly be accurate.

Currency oddities aside there are a number of excellent games from years past on sale this week. If you haven’t played any of the Arkham games across both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 the entire RockSteady trilogy is available at a reduced price.  You also can’t go wrong with the Handsome Collection – which includes two awesome Borderlands titles (2 & Pre-Sequel) with enhanced graphics for the PlayStation 4.

PS4 Games

  • A Boy and His Blob
  • Batman Arkham Knight
  • Borderlands: The Handsome Collection
  • Evolve
  • Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
  • Lego: The Hobbit
  • Mad Max
  • Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • WWE 2k16

P3 Games

  • Batman Arkham Asylum
  • Batman Arkham City
  • Bioshock
  • Borderlands 2
  • Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
  • Mortal Kombat (2011)

PS Vita Games

  • A Boy and His Blob
  • Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
  • Mortal Kombat (2011)
  • Odd World N’ Tasty

Bioshock: Infinite Launch Trailer

Posted on March 25, 2013 by Joshua Rust

Who’s ready for Bioshock: Infinite? Well, the wait isn’t too much longer (for me…about 6 more hours since I’m headed to the midnight launch!) as it hits retail stores tomorrow! If you are on the fence about this game I highly recommend you jump off that fence and get to your local game store tomorrow as Bioshock: Infinite has been well received by the critics thus far. The PC version, via Metacritic, has over 38 critics reviews thus far and is averaging in at 95/100. That’s pretty impressive so far.

The launch trailer for Bioshock: Infinite has been released today from 2K games & Irrational Games to get you more pumped up for it’s release.Read More

Irrational Games has announced today that Bioshock: Infinite will have a Season Pass.  The three separate downloads will weigh in at 1600 MSP ($20) and will  add “hours of additional gameplay and continue the player’s journey in the sky-city of Columbia with new stories, characters, abilities and weapons,” according to Irrational Games.

In addition, those who purchaseBioshock: Infinite’sSeason Pass will receive a free Early Bird Special Pack which includes: four pieces of “exclusive gear,” a Machine Gun Damage Upgrade, a Pistol Damage Upgrade, a gold skin for both weapons and “five Infusion bottles that allow players to increase their health, their shield durability or their ability to use Vigors by increasing the quantity of Salts they can carry.”

If you don’t want to buy the Season Pass, then each download will cost you 800 MSP ($30) – so it’s definitely a great deal if you’re planning on buying them regardless.

First Five Minutes Of Bioshock: Infinite

Posted on December 19, 2012 by Joshua Rust

Irrational Games has released the first five minutes of their upcoming Bioshock: Infinite game. So before you scroll down to watch it, you have been warned that this will (obviously) spoil the first part of the game. I, personally, love the Bioshock franchise and I can’t wait to get my hands on this game! This one looks so much better than Bioshock 2. If only Irrational Games can craft the type of storyline that the first game had…then this will be a masterpiece!

[youtube id=”60zmVrtIBzw” width=”600″ height=”350″]

For those of you unaware, this game was pushed back by a month to March 26th in order to polish the game up to make sure it’s top notch when it hits retails stores. This is a great move by Irrational Games to make sure the game is the best it can be when it ships. So props to them even if we have to suffer for one more month!
