Leaked Mega Bloks Set Reveals Potential Destiny Tower Battle

Posted on February 10, 2017 by Les Major

Destiny Cabal Rumors

There’s nothing set in stone about toy sets. Manufacturers aren’t bound to make products that follow series canon perfectly. So gamers shouldn’t look too far into this latest announcement about leaked Mega Bloks Destiny sets, however one interesting detail has emerged. One set focuses on a battle that occurs against the Cabal in the Tower on Earth.

Many are speculating this is a nod to Destiny 2. Other leaked information has suggested that the Cabal would be a major part of the sequel’s story. Considering they took a back seat so far in all of the raids from the original game, that assumption doesn’t seem far fetched. What I would like to see, and what I really hope is happening here, is that this is the epic conclusion to Destiny 1.

Think about it for a minute. Speculation has been that the Tower wouldn’t be the social area of Destiny 2. The sequel is seemingly about moving on and exploring new areas. What better way for the original game to wrap up would there be than to have the Tower fall? Let alone it sounds like you can’t bring your character along into the new game, or at least equipment doesn’t carry over. Again, all speculation since we do not have official word on any of this yet. If that is true however, the Tower falling could be an epic set piece to go out on. Your previous hero(s) could potentially have given their lives to save the city below in an all out battle against the Cabal. Destiny 2 could be about taking up arms against the Cabal and fighting back after this confrontation.

Whatever is going on, I’m putting in my two cents and betting on that. Just because I think that would be an epic wrap up to the game we’ve all come to know and love these past two years. So let’s see where this goes! For more details on the other leaked Destiny Mega Bloks sets check out VG247’s post.

Mr. Pumpkin Adventure | REVIEW

Posted on February 10, 2017 by Jason Nason

Mr. Pumpkin Adventure is a puzzling little game which is so odd that it almost defies description. In the story of the game the protagonist of the game – Mr. Pumpkin adventures in the strange vegetable kingdom only to find his memory.

Basically the game is a point and click (or in the case of the Wii U a tap and tap) game where you try to solve puzzles and advance to the goal. The game pretty much throws you into the thick of things with little explanation. After a brief comic strip style narration you are left to start the game with little idea of what to do. This is where the tapping begins.

theHunter: Call Of The Wild Reveals Layton Lake Trailer

Posted on February 10, 2017 by Les Major

theHunter Layton Lake

Continuing our coverage of Expansive Worlds beautiful woodlands simulator that I’ll be wandering through soon, we have a new trailer highlighting the Layton Lake district of the reserve. The hunting simulator which promises to be very immersive and detailed will feature a huge landscape for gamers to explore. Obviously the main goal is to track animals for sport, however the scenery is just too wondrous to ignore.

Built on the engine used in Just Cause 3, theHunter: Call Of The Wild boasts some very impressive visuals. Especially for an open world game. We’re eager to dive into the actual gameplay aspects but it’s hard to ignore the subtle things from this trailer. Even the nod to multiplayer at the end shows the group of hunters flattening out tall grass as they progress through it. Is this just cosmetic? It’s a nice touch.

With less than a week until launch, theHunter: Call Of The Wild is promising to be an ambitious title!

LEGO Batman Builds Up The Lego Dimensions Collection Today

LEGO Batman Movie Story Pack

To coincide with the release of The LEGO Batman Movie hitting theaters today, fans can pick up the LEGO Batman Movie story pack for LEGO Dimensions! We absolutely loved the Fantastic Beasts story pack and if the previous content is any indication, this additional content is just getting better and better!

The LEGO Batman Movie story pack comes with a physical Batgirl and Robin minifig. You know, that cute lovable dorky Robin from the trailers? Not just that but you also get a Batcomputer setup to build for the LEGO Dimensions Portal as well! So it’s a replacement portal like the previous story packs included. Also included is a new 3 in 1 vehicle, the Batwing! It can also be rebuilt into The Black Thunder and the Bat-Tank.

Also like the previous packs you receive six all new levels AND an adventure world to explore. Plus of course there is a battle arena unlocked as well for multiplayer.

Released as well today was the Knight Rider LEGO set! It’s just a fun pack, but so was the A-Team set which contained an immersive adventure world is just full of content and references to the TV show. One of my favorites, the Gremlins team pack was also a wonderful experience from the classic movie to explore the adventure world of. So you can bet Knight Rider is going to be a trip you’ll want to buckle up for.
