If you don’t know what the PSN Day 1 Digital program is, then you’re in luck, because I’m about to explain what it is, in a rather quick and painless paragraph. Over the course of this October, PS3 gamers will be able to get their hands on digital copies of upcoming popular titles, such as Resident Evil 6, NBA 2K13, Dishonored, and Assassin’s Creed III. One key benefit of digital downloads is being able to play games on the same day that they officially release. PlayStation Plus members will also receive 10% discounts on quite a few of the many titles that Sony has to offer.

That wasn’t too bad, was it? If you hate the lines at your local retailers, or just driving out to places, then why not take advantage of this program?
