EA Planning SimCity BuildIt for iOS and Android

Electronic Arts announced today that they are making a mobile version of SimCity for iOS and Android called SimCity BuildIt. The game will be coming soon to iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. The release states that this will be an all-new SimCity game like you’ve never seen before, designed for gamers on the go.

Whether you’re a savvy city planner or a strategic mastermind, you can take control and have fun wherever you are. The choices you make evolve your city in a variety of ways. Meet your citizens’ needs to keep them happy, or make questionable choices and feel your citizens’ wrath.

Pinch, zoom, and rotate 360 degrees as you manage your city in the palm of your hand. With countless buildings and vivid, 3D-quality graphics, it’s the most advanced mobile building simulation game.

Super Smash Bros 3DS Demo Released in Japan

Nintendo released a demo for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo 3DS. In Japan, anyway.

In the demo, gamers can pick among 5 fighters with which to play. The stage is Battlefield, and the rules are fixed. There will be a few items and assist trophies available too. You can also battle via local wireless.

In a Miiverse post, Masahiro Sakurai told users outside of Japan to stay tuned for more news about the demo for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. Could we see the demo in tomorrow’s Nintendo download?

Batman: Arkham Knight Slips Out of The Shadows On June 2nd, 2015

Batman is set to ride down the streets of gotham in his sweet batmobile next  spring with the release of Batman: Arkham Knight on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.  Warner Brothers interactive has confirmed a release date of June 2nd, 2015 for the caped crusader’s next adventure , which means that we have about eight and a half months to wait before we can put on the cowell once again.

Warner Brothers announced two special editions of Arkham Knight. The first is the Limited Edition which includes an 80 page art book, a limited edition steel case, The New 52 skin pack and a Batman statue. The Batmobile edition includes the artbook alongside a Batman: Arkham Knight Issue #0 comic book and a pretty sweet looking transformable Batmobile statue.

A limited edition of Arkham Knight will set you back $119.99 Canadian while the Batmobile edition is quite a bit more expensive at $229.99!  Both of these editions will be available in North America – Europe and Oceanic regions will also see the release of Arkham Origins on PC as well.
