Extra Credits Indie Fund Sponsors Its First Game

The Extra Credits Indie Fund has financed the development of its first game: Mental Drift. Thought becomes reality in this puzzle platformerwhere words from the player character’s inner monologue become tools to change the world around him. The game’s first trailer came out today to celebrate its official unveiling with the Extra Credits Indie Fund.

Mental Drift debuted under the Extra Credits banner in August’s Penny Arcade Expo. Attendees were invited to play the demo and share their feedback on the game’s early development. “We want this to be the community’s project,” said James Portnow, Producer of Extra Credits. “A lot of people put money into this fund. WWE’13 | Review

Woo Woo Woo You Know It, it’s time for the annual WWE release with WWE’13, developed by Yuke’s and published by THQ. The game was released on October 30th for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii consoles. The game is the second of the WWE series of games but the fifteenth overall in the combined series. This review is based on my experiences with the Xbox 360 version of the game. The question now is should you go smell what WWE’13 is cooking? Or avoid it like the rebranding of ECW in 2008.
