Epic Games’ worst kept secret Gears of War: Judgement has been announced at Microsoft’s E3 press conference. The brief teaser trailer showed franchise regular Baird being dragged by two masked cog soldiers, presumably in chains as he was shown in the game informer cover from earlier in the week. There were also quick cuts to shots of Baird using a Lancer with a lot of red light and particle effects.

Earlier in the day speculation arose that the game will take place approximately 15 years before the events of the original Gears of War.

Gears of Ware: Judgement will be available in 2013 and more information should be available soon. Check out some screengrabs from the trailer after the jump.
