What is Infinity Ward planning for the Future?

Infinity Ward is now looking for people to work on next generation projects. According to a job posting on Activision’s website, Infinity Ward is looking for a  Senior Network Engineer to work on upcoming next generation projects. The job description reads:

Come work with the game industry’s brightest to design and implement high level network code for an exciting unannounced title for next generation console systems.

This role is for experienced programmers that have a passion for games and experience with online infrastructure design and development.

Is Infinity Ward looking to bring the next Call of Duty onto next generation hardware?

Currently, Activision is in a heated trial against former studio heads Jason West and Frank Zampella. The two parties are fighting for royalties owed to the Modern Warfare 2 team.
