Publisher Deep Silver confirmed today that the upcoming RTS title Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War IV will launch on PC on December 3rd. The Commander Edition will release four days earlier, on November 29th, and includes the game’s first expansion along with the official soundtrack.
Alongside the updated release date, developer KING ART Games also revealed the roadmap for Dawn of War IV’s first year of post‑launch content.
Map Packs 1 and 2 are scheduled to arrive in spring 2027.
Map Packs 3 and 4, along with a new Last Stand Mode, are expected to launch in summer 2027.
Two paid story expansions are also planned for next year: Blood Ravens: Story Prologue and Aftermath: The Campaign Expansion, the latter of which introduces a brand‑new faction.
Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War IV’s game director had this to say:
“As we approached the final stages of development, we saw an opportunity to further enhance Dawn of War IV and deliver the quality of experience we’ve always envisioned. The additional time will allow us to continue optimising performance, resolving bugs, and applying further polish to ensure players have the best possible experience from day one”
