Find yourself craving a snack from a galaxy far, far away? Or looking for some themed food for a party? We’ve got you covered!

Though I’ve seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens in theaters far too many times than movie ticket prices justify, each time I have watched it, I found myself mesmerized by Rey’s instant rising bread. While the green jelly substance she eats didn’t do much for my appetite, the portion bread that spawns from a packet of powder and some water actually looked like it could be quite tasty!

Luckily, I stumbled upon an official recipe for Rey’s Portion Bread and I am eager to try it out! It may be a sweet take on Rey’s meal, but it looks quite tasty and rises out of a mug in just a few seconds, mimicking the wondrous magic of the bread in the movie.

Here’s the recipe:

Rey’s Portion Bread

Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
4 tablespoons cake flour
1-1/2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon matcha powder
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt
2 tablespoons whole milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
1. Place the oil in a mug and swirl around to grease the inside.
2. Add the cake flour, sugar, matcha powder, baking powder and salt into the mug, stirring together.
3. Pour in the milk and vanilla, then cook in the microwave on high for 45 seconds.
4. Let cool slightly and serve.

Digging through the official Star Wars blogs lead me to find a plethora of other treats and delights, ranging from a sarlacc bundt cake to adorable BB-8 pork buns! Though it might not be the most creative recipe on the site, the R2-A6 Garlic Bacon Dip has my tummy rumbling!

If the idea of devouring BB-8 makes you feel like a monster, there’s a plethora of other Star Wars recipes available, from a cool Liquid Carbonite shake (freezing Han is optional!) to Rebel Alliance themed pumpkin pie in a jar to keep your pilots fed and flying!

When your kitchen is out of the option (maybe your father just chopped off your hand and you really aren’t feeling up to cooking), just take a trip to Disneyland where the Season of the Force celebration has brought all sorts of delicious Star Wars themed delicacies both at the fully themed Galactic Grill and at other locations around the park! I can’t wait to visit and check out the First Order Burger. As a fan of heat, the beef/chorizo partty with cherry peppers and spicy-lime aioli sounds delicious! And, of course, having the dark themed bun just seems fun!

GALACTIC GRILL (ANAHEIM, Calif.) – Opening Nov. 16, 2015, at Disneyland Park, the Galactic Grill will feature special Star Wars-themed menu items as part of Season of the Force in Tomorrowland. This new themed experience celebrates iconic characters and moments from the Star Wars saga with special entertainment, themed food offerings and more. Guests will also be thrilled to explore Hyperspace Mountain, a reimagining of the classic Space Mountain attraction. (Disney Parks)

Though The Force Awakens has been out for a few months now, my Star Wars craze started long before and will probably continue onward! Let me know if  you try out any of the delicious foods and what you think of them. I certainly know what my next party’s theme will be!
