Wargame: European Escalation Giveaway

Posted on May 2, 2012 by Daniel Shannon

International Workers’ Day may have come and gone, but its spirit still lingers here at Broken Joysticks. I, for one, associate the first of May with massive Soviet military Parades. What a sight it must have been to behold the crimson banners fluttering as T-80 tanks rumbled past. In honor of the “good old days,” we’re giving out copies of Wargame: European Escalation.

In case you didn’t know, Wargame: European Escalation is an alternate history game where the Cold War goes “Hot.” I don’t mean hot in the nuclear holocaust sense. Rather, the forces of NATO and the Warsaw Pact battle it out conventionally over a decidedly non irradiated Europe. You can see how to get your hands on a copy (and watch footage from a Soviet May Day Parade)  after the jump.

If you’d like to have a copy of Wargame then tell us who you think would win a conventional war between NATO and the Warsaw pact circa 1983 and why. You’ll have until 8 PM EST to post your answer in the comments here, after which Broken Joysticks’ Chiefs of Staff will determine two winners who will receive a free copy of Wargame. We’ll announce the winners in the comments section for this very article. Naturally to enter you’ll need to register.

We’ll also post an additional code for the game in an article, our twitter, or our steam group. Furthermore, if the answers to the question posted above displease us then we may choose to abort the mission and post the two codes in the places mentioned above.
