Nioh: Complete Edition Coming To PC On November 7th

Posted on October 2, 2017 by Rae Michelle Richards

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja will unleash their brutal samurai action title Nioh on PC this fall with the release of Nioh: Complete Edition on November 7th. Taking the role of a lone samurai players must fight their way through challenging enemies and supernatural Yokai in order to complete their quest. After a lengthy development process that lasted for 13 years Nioh finally saw release on PS4 this past February.

Nioh: Complete Edition will include the base game along with 3 already released DLC expansions: Dragon of the North, Defiant Honor and Bloodshed’s End. Here is a description of each expansion DLC as detailed on the game’s Steam page:

Dragon of the North
This expansion opens up the Tohoku region, where the “one-eyed dragon” Date Masamune is secretly gathering spirit stones.

Defiant Honor
Fight your way through the Siege of Osaka’s winter campaign as you follow the story of one of Japan’s greatest generals from the Warring States period, the brave Sanada Yukimura.

Bloodshed’s End
Join the summer campaign of the Siege of Osaka as the Warring States period draws to a close in this, the final chapter of William’s tale.

A special steam exclusive “Dharmachakra Kabuto” helmet is also included in the Steam release of the Complete Edition.

Nioh: Complete Editions minimum requirements aren’t too strenuous – with the 4 generations old i5 4770 being the recommended processor. The same goes with graphics cards: with the 4 year old Geforce 780 being the minimum to run the game. That 3GB Vram recommendation might be a challenge for someone who has one of the many 2GB Radeon cards that would otherwise meet the requirements.

DICE also took some time to thank the millions of users who played the Open Beta on PC, PS4 and Xbox One earlier this Summer. Over 13 million players logged in and tried the game out before its retail release and player feedback have lead to some major changes for Battlefield 1’s conquest mode.

Here is what DICE’s Lead World Designer Daniel Berlin had to say about the changes coming to Battlefied 1’s conquest mode prior to release:

“We’re going to be making changes to the Conquest game mode ticket system for launch. The next time you play the game, capturing the objectives AND getting kills will both contribute towards the final score of a Conquest match. You have spoken, we have listened!” That is why we’re going to be making changes to the Conquest game mode ticket system for launch. The next time you play the game, capturing the objectives AND getting kills will both contribute towards the final score of a Conquest match. You have spoken, we have listened!”

Changes are also coming to the light tank, which DICE feels was a bit too powerful in the open beta and horses which also could a bit of balancing considering they could take rockets directly to the face.

Here’s a bit about what’s coming in terms of vehicle balancing:

“We’re also looking into balancing other elements, including the weapons and vehicles. The Light Tank, which is a bit too effective in the Open Beta, will definitely receive some work, and we agree that Horses can take a few too many rounds at the moment. ”

A Computer Capable Of Running Battlefront Is Much Stronger Than You Can Possibly Imagine

Posted on October 6, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

The force must be strong with EA as they prepare to launch the Open Beta for Star Wars: Battlefront on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Ahead of Thursday’s official kick off the publisher has posted the minimum and recommended specs for game on its official Origin page.

The recommended specs are probably going to shock a lot of people considering they are recommending an NVIDIA Geforce 960 & an  Intel i5 6600 both of which are top-shelf components costing about $300 USD a pop and both of which were only released in the last few months.  If you want to go with the minimum specs they’re recommending only a Geforce 660 or higher *phew*. Oh and the 16GBs of RAM is a little absurd if you ask me!

Is your PC up to the task? Perhaps you’ve squirreled away some money into your Death Star construction fund and can use some of it to upgrade your rig.

My computer falls squarely in-between the minimum and recommended. My processor is older (and is an AMD which has no recommended specs) and I’ve only got 8GBs of ram but at least my graphics card clears the recommended mark.

We’ll have full impressions of the Star Wars: Battlefront beta when it launches later this week. Oh and we’ll be playing it across multiple platforms to try and bring you the most comphrensive coverage possible.

Minimum PC System Requirements

Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection

Recommended PC System Requirements
