It appears that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has gone gold according to a tweet by Monolith Soft developer which Google Translate reads as “A certain title launch party at a certain hotel in Kyoto”. Is this one game the next entry in the Legend of Zelda series? According to Neo Gaf user Steiner this is indeed the case.

It would make sense for Breath of the Wild to go gold considering it will ship alongside the Nintendo Switch in less than a month on March 3rd.
