Atlus teases Project Re Fantasy

Posted on December 24, 2016 by Jason Nason

Atlus teased a little bit about an upcoming RPG on Friday. The stuido, the developers behind the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series, and Katsura Hashino – director of ATLUS titles including Persona 5, Catherine, Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne, and others – are launching a new internal studio called Studio Zero.

The new game, while not much information is available, is in the earliest of stages of development. The game will be a complete departure from the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series, and will be a new IP. Hashino is tapped to be the game’s director, along with other legendary ATLUS names. Along on the journey will be Shigenori Soejima from the ATLUS Artwork Team, responsible for creating the character art of the denizens of this new fantasy world, and Shoji Meguro from the ATLUS Sound Team, who will breathe life and depth into the new world as music composer.

Lightwood Games teased a new game title in the form of an interactive holicay card today. The game, called “Pic-a-Pix Color”, with the spelling appropriately corrected to “Pic-a-Pix Colour” in Europe, is a game similar to Picross games.

The puzzles are designed by Conceptis Ltd, the leading supplier of logic puzzles to print and digital media around the world and the developers have access to a massive library of beautiful pixel art puzzles.
