Capcom is at it again. Remember how between Street Fighter 4 to Super Street Fighter 4 and Marvel vs Capcom 3 to Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 was impossible to update by DLC because of technical limitations? Just announced is an major expansion to Capcom’s new IP Dragon’s Dogma – titled “Dark Arisen.” Granted there is not a lot of information about this expansion other than it is tentatively dated for 2013. This game, even for its flaws, it one of the best new IPs I’ve played this year and I truly enjoy the heck out it.
Here is the teaser trailer for Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen (and it’s just that…a teaser):
Also, there are additional modes supposedly set to launch before the end of the year as well: Speedrun & Hard mode.
It’s pretty self-explanatory, but Speedrun will challenge you to clear the game within a certain time. Doing so will earn specific in-game equipment based on the time you completed it in. Hard mode will be just that…Hard. Enemies will be tougher but completing the game will earn you with even more special equipment.
So, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will launch sometime in 2013. I’m excited about it, how about you all?Posted in: Microsoft, News, Sony Tags: Capcom, Dragon's Dogma, Dragon's Dogma DLC, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
