Xenoblade Chronicles 2 coming to Switch in 2017

Nintendo and Mololith Soft announced during the Nintendo Switch presentation that a third game in the Xenoblade Chronicles series is in the works. The game comes after the original Xenoblade Chornicles for the Wii in 2012 and the spiritual sucessor Xenoblade Chronicles X on the Wii U in 2015. In the latest entry of the Xenoblade Chronicles series, a new hero will seek out Elysium on an immense journey through a brand-new world.

Xenoblade Chronicles was also ported to the NEW Nintendo 3DS in 2015 as well as Xenoblade Chronicles 3D.

Not much has been revelaed about the single-player role-playing game, which is listed for a release sometime in 2017. Check out below for screenshots from the game as well as the trailer presented on Thursday.
