Again, the word “tease” is the main emphasis here – straight from the Gearbox panel at SXSW. It has been confirmed that this new character will NOT be part of the Season Pass for Borderlands 2. From the brief images in the trailer, it appears this new character is a melee specialist. A release date has not been specified, but Matt Armstrong stated, “DLC is announced on a very tight schedule, and I don’t think you’ll have to wait long until you see that character.”

While a lot of people didn’t like Brick from the first Borderlands game, I found him to be quite effective if leveled up a certain way. Anyone else a fan of Brick?
