Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown E3 2017 Screenshots and Trailer Released

Posted on June 15, 2017 by Rae Michelle Richards

E3 is coming to a close today but there is still tons of screenshots, trailers and news to go through. Namco Bandai reminds all of us that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is coming to both PlayStation 4, PSVR and PC in 2018 with the release of a brand new trailer and a series of screenshots. This latest trailer gives us a lot more background into the story of Skies Unknown – with one of the military powers in the world of Ace Combat occupying the International Space Elevator the world is plunged into chaos and military conflict.  The newly released screenshots give us a look inside one of the game’s hangers, a close-up view of an  F-14 and several select screengrabs from the trailer itself.

There is still no confirmed release date for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

Youtuber PS360HD got a 10 minute direct-feed gameplay capture from this year’s E3 conference if you’d like to see how Ace Combat 7 Plays:

New Shenmue III Screenshots Revealed

Posted on November 1, 2015 by Kenny Keelan

[youtube id=”gY6GzhjPXaE”]

From a bygone era that nearly broke Sega, Shenmue III rose from the ashes to breathe life into a franchise that had one of the more dedicated followings among gaming communities online: once developer Ys Net and creator Yu Suzuki presented the unveiling of the Kickstarter project at E3, it sent ripples felt all over the gaming world. This was, to me, one of the larger announcements of the entire conference and, as such, was the center of a lot of controversy.

Now in it’s third month of development, Suzuki revealed on Shenmue III‘s Kickstarter page that most of the planning for the game has come into its final stages and it’s finally time to start making things real. He opened up about how planning for stages were going and how development for some of the core placeholders for the game were coming along but the big thing that everyone’s been salivating for are these screenshots:

Considering this is all very early work it’s hard to not get excited if you have played any of the previous Shenmue titles at all: they were perhaps the first foray into a truly open and alive world that lived and breathed much the same way the real world does. Of course, back then, this was a very expensive undertaking and if that was them going all out back then I can only imagine, thanks to these small tastes of what’s to come, what this could mean for this day and age.

Killlzone Shadowfall Announced & Demo’d

Posted on February 20, 2013 by Rae Michelle Richards

Sony Computer Entertainment returns to the sci-fi world of Killzone with the announcement of Killzone: Shadowfall for the PlayStation 4. Remember how the PS3 was unveiled 7 years ago with a spectacular demo of Killzone 2? Well Shadowfall is set to blow us all away.

During the demo our protagonist is on board of a drop-shop that circles a very large complex, possibly a sky scraper. As the ship lands the protagonist makes his way through a high security checkpoint. The installation is secure and citizens walk around, complete with high detail and life like animations. Unfortunately the safety is not to be as the Helghast attack the structure.

Our description of the demo continues after the jump, including a copy of the demo embedded via YouTube.Read More
