Holiday Weekend Sales Give Us All A Reason To Stay In-Doors & Game

Posted on November 24, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

All of our American editors are enjoying their time with family over the holiday weekends. As countless people are traveling across the continent to see family members and love ones that they may not have shared physical space together in many months. If you’re like me a long 8 hour flight with multiple lay-overs can be a great time to catch up on games that I might have ignored for quite some time.

I am of course not American – I’m Canadian – so I won’t be traveling anywhere this weekend. This doesn’t mean that some of the jaw dropping deals that large worldwide corporations have cooked up to coincide with a holiday steeped in colonialism. Some of these deals are USA only, most of them are open to everyone in USA & Canada and at least one is Canadian only.

Humble Capcom Bundle Launched

Posted on October 13, 2015 by Rae Michelle Richards

You better have your shoryuken memorized because this latest Humble Bundle is sure to land a dragon punch on you if you are not prepared for it. The Humble Capcom Bundle includes a number of different titles from several classic Capcom franchises.

Personally I think even the pay what you can tier of $1 is worth it for Episode 1 of Resident Evil: Relations 2 alone. On top of that all those who buy into the bundle will receive Strider, Lost Planet 3 and Bionic Commando Armed. That’s a ton of hours of entertainment for only a buck, to be completely honest – I lost dozens of hours in Resident Evil: Revelations 2’s Raid Mode alone.

Paying more than the average (currently $7.60 USD) will grant you all of the above plus Resident Evil: Revelations, DMC: Devil May Cry and Resident Evil 5.

If you chose to go with the ultimate tier – priced at $15 USD – you’ll get everything above as well as Resident Evil 5: Untold Stories DLC and Ultra Street Fighter IV.

There’s a lot of value in these bundles and it looks like the amount of entertainment available in the Humble Capcom Bundle is only going to increase with more games expected to be added next week.
