Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge | Review

Posted on April 22, 2013 by Jason Fayta

Version tested: PlayStation 3

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge (hereafter Razor’s Edge), the once exclusive Wii U title, arrives on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 shortly after its release on Nintendo’s console, and perhaps, much to the chagrin of Ninja Gaiden 3 owners. It’s one thing to have to read about the debacle that was Ninja Gaiden 3, but for gamers who purchased the title at launch, the mere existence of Razor’s Edge may have soured any attempt for Team Ninja to redeem themselves.Read More

Dead or Alive 5 | Review

Posted on October 1, 2012 by Jason Fayta

Version tested:  PlayStation 3

Dead or Alive 5 (hereafter DOA5) is now available on consoles, almost seven years after the previous installment, and it doubles as the series’ debut on PlayStation 3. You have to go all the way back to the year 2000 when Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore graced the PlayStation 2 for the last entry on Sony’s hardware. Warning: You May Be Flustered By This Dead Or Alive 5 Trailer

Posted on August 9, 2012 by Seung Lee

I won’t say what exactly you’ll be taken back by, because there’s actually quite a few things in this trailer for Dead or Alive 5 that caught me by surprise. I will say, however, that there’s rap, giant breasts (as to be expected of a Dead or Alive game), and an actual semblance of a plot.

Dead or Alive 5 is set to release for the PlayStation 3 on September 25th in the states, 27th in Japan, and on the 28th in Europe. American and Japanese Xbox 360 owners can also expect the game to release on the same dates as the PS3 version. The release date for the European 360 version is still unknown. Oh, and by the way, do yourself a favor and don’t read the comments on the video below. It’ll save you precious brain cells.
