Warner Bros Interactive announced a mobile version of the upcoming Mortal Kombat X for iOS and Android. Unlike its console big brother the mobile MK will be a hybrid card/fighting game allowing players to pit their favourite fighters against each other while on the go.

Development is being handled in-house at Nether Realm Studios, the game is set to feature iconic MK characters like Sub-Zero, Raiden and Scorpion among other newcomers set to début in MK X.

Mortal Kombat X Mobile will be available on April 14th 2015, the mobile version has a general release date of April 2015. Check out a brand new trailer below.
