Nintendo Wii U Price Drop

Posted on August 29, 2013 by Jason Nason

After discontinuing the basic model set of the Wii U, Nintendo has announced that the price of the Deluxe model of the console will be reduced as of September 20th. The Deluxe model will be reduced by $50 to the price of the basic console.

The Nintendo Wii U Deluxe Set drops to to a new suggested retail price of $299.99 effective September 20th.

If you didn’t manage to take advantage of the recent Wal-Mart clear out of the basic model a few weeks ago this is now the best time to get your hands on the Deluxe set. And with a strong lineup of games coming in the fourth quarter the time could just be right.

Pikmin 3 has just been released with The Wonderful 101, New Super Luigi U, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Super Mario 3D World and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze all on the horizon.
